Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Sorry but those name won't sell. You should stay away from .net and .org if they are not premium names and until you get a grasp of the industry. You should take some time to read past posts here. Look at what kind of VR names have sold. Go to Namebio.com and see what is selling to get a better sense of the market. But definitely take time to read previous threads. A lot of good advice in them. And always ask yourself... what company or person would want the domain I am acquiring. Who would want 360degVR.com as a brand? Good luck and don't stop asking questions.

Hi all - I own a couple of good names, but wonder what they are worth. Anyone care to elaborate?

avatarmodels.com
holotours.net
vrskaters.com
vrspawn.com
vrtivoli.com
avatardating.net
vrselfie.net
I have VRSkater dot com and I consider it one of my weakest ones, if I'd be in your situation I'd let them all drop except VRSpawn.

branding VR names are tricky imo.
If using VR as a prefix, the domain should make sense.
VRrecruiting.com for instance makes sense.(we are recruiting).
Also VR technology is being used by recruiters so VRrecruiting.com can be used by recruitment companies.

generally everyone should expect to sell very few vr names ending in ING.... except the few obvious exceptions dating..gaming... etc

vrrecruiting will not make that sellable list imo

p.s. it ia a very bad idea to equate vr with "we are" in your translations or valuations...if that is indeed what u just did...the thought if it should never even cross anyone mind..and is sure to not translate into sales, if based on this "idea"

cheers

Agree. The VR domains that don’t make sense don’t have a chance. The ones that do make sense, that are dot coms do have demand, but are still selling too cheap. Hoping to see prices rise as more companies go VR.

Having interacted with a ton of company recruiters and independent recruiters (executive search/headhunters) over the last 20+ years, there's been a lot of talk about "virtual recruiting" in the last year or two. I for one like and can see potential in VRrecruiting. It's MUCH better than the non ING, VRrecruit.

As to whether VRrecruiting is a 4 figure domain or has the potential of being a 6 figure domain, only time -- and technology -- will tell.
