Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

NameSilo
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Encourage friends, every day that passes is one less than necessary for vr to be mainstream.

Facebook predicted that ten years in 2014, we are almost halfway through.

Sold out is the oldest trick in the book guys :) but the fact the the product is for sale is good news .

Still hard to believe a working wireless VR headset for $200. The less complicated the quicker everyone buys one.

thanks
I like it.
if it wasn't me then the next guy would pick it up.. obviously its not the kind of name at this stage of VR that remains unregged for longtime.

I also had a nearly finalized on namesilo sale of VRcage...com a few weeks ago for $1250.. but last minute he couldn't come up with funds.. got banned from namesilo for it.

I don't really regret cause I think this has easy 4 figure potential (more thna 1250) in future of VR.

was also supposed to finalize VRwalkthrough (.com) on unireg 2 weeks ago for 1k... but... buyer didn't go all the way through.

both nice names with solid future imo.. so I can't say I regret these failed sales.

cheers.

If some forecasts are confirmed, Oculus Go will represent a turning point in the VR and, consequently, in the value of our investments.

https://www.vrfocus.com/2018/05/report-1-8m-oculus-go-devices-sold-over-next-three-quarters/

SuperData Report: 1.8m Oculus Go Devices To Be Sold Over Next Three Quarters
Personally I'm not finding this number that exciting because Gear VR will reach 10 million this year, while they sold 5 million by the end of december 2016 (only 1 year after it launched).
That's just their forecast so I wouldn't be surprised if that number will actually be 3m, anything over 3m, that's when I'll personally consider great news.

You may be right, although if the memory does not fail me, I believe that the gear was given away with the purchase of the phone in the first months of its commercialization.

I personally have high hopes in Oculus Go for diferent reasons, time will give us the answer.

Yes, that's one of my reasons, I own:

STANDALONEVR - COM

But not the only one, I think it is an "optimal" device for a VR start experience, it has acceptable minimum qualities so as not to poison the well.

I also believe that it is a device that can have great possibilities of use in applications other than games that we have talked about so much, health, real estate, travel, marketing, promotions, etc.

We no longer need a premium smartphone, or a powerful computer to give minimally acceptable experiences at a sensational price.

We have spoken many times that the price of virtual reality is one of the great obstacles to its rapid implementation, with this device, at least that problem is overcome with that minimum of quality that I mentioned at the beginning.

I did tonight a outbound email and within 5 minutes i get a response from the buyer. I initiated a Escrow transfer for $250. A small sale. I potentially could get more out of it but because it is a plural version and the buyer has the non plural one i am happy to sell. I will list the domain after receiving the money. I have send two more emails to other potential buyers for $750 and €750.

The other potential buyers are for other domains by the way (4x $750, 3x $450 and 1x €750). The sale for $250 is final en confirmed with Escrow.

Sorry about that. Do you know if it's VR related?

Sorry about that. Do you know if it's VR related?

I do not know, this name was already sold in 2016 for 29,633 USD, surely an investor in the top league, great investment and huge return, congratulations to the seller

It is possible that the end user is a technology company, perhaps: http://www.vrkpower.com/

Virtual Reality is very young, we are not impatient, we must let it grow, companies develop, earn a lot of money and demand for domain names grow.

Until VR is mainstream, we still have to witness the birth of many companies, many will not resist the first years and close, others will triumph and perhaps, very few, will become real giants.

Adapt your portfolio to the size of your pockets, if the big sales arrive early, it will be great, but you have to be prepared financially to wait for the time you need VR to take the necessary momentum.

Do not be in doubt, VR will be a great investment niche for domain names, stay with the good ones and leave the rest.

Good luck and calm everyone, do not be discouraged that the worst has already happened.

Regards.
