Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Got a weird email saying that someone is trying to authorize Fast Transfer @ Afternic for my Clinics VR domain... right after I posted in this thread recently.

It's possible that you sold the domain! Go in your Afternic account, and filter out "Pending Sale" domains, if the name shows up, then it's sold - Congrats. That happens to me a lot, most of the time Afternic takes 3-5 days to notify me after a domain is sold, but when the transaction takes place , I get a email saying that the domain is pending transfer (I think it only happens when buyers buy on Godaddy, because of the way GD works for premium domain purchases, it purchases a "transfer" and initiates it automatically without authorization code). If not, I don't think you have anything to worry about as long as the name is locked, and your registrar account is secure. Did the name have Buy It Now price?

Thanks - It was apparently done by accident by another member. I have resolved it with Afternic via email.

Following weeks of speculation surrounding the social VR platform’s successful turnaround, it has been revealed today that AltspaceVR is now part of Microsoft. Despite being one of the original social VR services, the company fell into financial difficulties in July, and almost completely shut down.

Update (10/3/17): At today’s Windows Mixed Reality event in San Francisco, Microsoft announced that AltspaceVR is now part of the family. The social VR platform ran out of funding in July, announcing an imminent closure, but the service was saved thanks to a passionate community response and investment from an unnamed party, which has now been revealed.
