Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

well the guy who wanted virtualrealityproducer....com for $450 couple weeks back.. is right back at it on gd makeoffr.. with $50 more than before....my previous coutner of $700 expired.. so now I countered his $500 with 990

this is what you get for not taking good deal when its there for you I guess.

I read some google stuff about vr + producer.. something got sold recently or something like that.. or new company created.. maybe this offr related. who knows

but hey even more power to ya if you have vrproducer....com
it's probably worth 10 times what my longtail is.

yep.. we do our best with what we got I am sure! you too!

I think it's good to only keep best of best .club

I picked up couple on promos this year.. only renewed 1-2 so far.. I think it was virtualgame.club plus one adult one ..

I think we should be very careful what we renew and keep in vr .club

here is my current list.. vrpoker, club is prolly most interesting to me. this year's promo reg.

virtualgame,club
virtualp***rn,club
virtualp***rno,club
virtualrealitycasino,club
vrpoker,club
vrexperience,club
p*****nvr,club
virtualrealitygame,club
virtualrealityp*****rno,club
virtualtechnology,club

Firefox/Roadmap/Updates

  • Firefox 55 ships to release tomorrow!
    • Firefox Screenshots is the major front end feature shipping in Firefox 55. It's going to be a gradual roll-out so not everyone will see it on release day.
    • WebVR is the big platform feature shipping in Firefox 55. Firefox users with an HTC VIVE or Oculus Rift can experience VR content on the Web.
    • Other Firefox 55 features include a dramatic performance improvement in session restore with large numbers of tabs, an option to fine-tune browser performance with e10s multi settings, a click to activate Flash Player, search suggestions in the Awesomebar enabled by default, a modernized update system, and a streamlined Windows stub installer that installs Firefox 64 bit by default for users on 64 bit systems.

Can 'Star Wars' Ignite Cinematic Virtual Reality?

In the past few years, I’ve been on the lookout for virtual reality experiences that cross the line into believable experiences. I’ve demo’d Microsoft HoloLens and explored Vive, Oculus, and Samsung Gear.

They all have their place, but none of them took me out of this world, and into another -- except one.

Two years ago, I was one of the first people to demo a new technology platform called The Void at the TED conference in Vancouver.

The Void describes Itself as “hyper-reality": a whole-body, fully immersive VR experience.

I wore a haptic vest that uses sound and vibration to ramp up the sense of realism for explorers. I was transported to an ancient temple. From there, I walked down the stone-lined pathways, solving puzzles to open a door into the next chamber. On the wall, a torch was burning, and a voice in my headset suggested I take it along with me.

HP’s new Nvidia-powered backpack VR PC is designed for work, not play

HP has a new entrant in that most curious PC niche – the backpack computer. A product of the virtual reality computing wave, the backpack PC provides all the power needed to drive high-quality VR headsets like Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, but with a form factor that allows the user to roam about untethered. The new HP Z VR Backpack is a bit different from the rest of the field, though, since it’s designed specifically as a workstation... Read More

Yes, another huge step for WebVR and with such, more value added to VR domains compared to VR apps.

haven't been trolling here in a while. lol how is everyone?

How's the VR niche doing these days? was it everything we'd hoped it would be?

Quick question. I remember hearing about VRPC's last year.

what's going on with those? are they popular? or are we "on to the next thing" ie mobile? now as far as "keyword or terms"?

will VRPC's essentially "die"?

I wondered.. I gave it a shot for instead PCVR on the last Dotster special.

PCVR is that a "Trending" term? or is it going to be VRPC?

just was hoping for some clear definitive advice. Dump? or renew my "PCVR" domains?

Think I could at least recoup reg fee selling on Namejet or no?

A "PCVR" is just as good as "VRPC" or no?

Would appreciate the help. thanks.
