Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Guys is it worth investing in NET extension if the VR plus keyword is really good.

Not many sales reports in this thread lately. So here goes: I first sold 4 VR domains to the same buyer for 5.5.k€ ~ $6500 about 4-5 months ago (structured deal) and now 14 domains of lesser quality (contained also some MR / AR stuff) for 1.5k€ ~ $1750. Mainly local country codes and .com. End user and extremely nice person, so happy to see the domains go to a good home. One of the VR domains included in the first deal was slightly developed (they just used it as a re-direct). I think he got a pretty good deal.

AltspaceVR failed because of bad management. Their avatars looked horrible and the only reason why they didn't improve them is because someone at the company had too much pride to take negative criticism. When people don't feel free to criticism constructively companies fail. With the same amount of polygons (or less), they could have made far more appealing avatars. It's really stupid, but that's the way it goes. Gotta make space for better companies.

Facebook's VR social efforts also look stupid, but they're far better looking than AltspaceVR's...with more features. When social WebVR sites are going to be popular as well...Its only a matter of time.

Where are you getting your search stats? I used to use adwords but they've been making it more difficult to get exact numbers.

Only simple Google.es exact match search results
from Spain, my country

HP’s new Nvidia-powered backpack VR PC is designed for work, not play

HP has a new entrant in that most curious PC niche – the backpack computer. A product of the virtual reality computing wave, the backpack PC provides all the power needed to drive high-quality VR headsets like Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, but with a form factor that allows the user to roam about untethered. The new HP Z VR Backpack is a bit different from the rest of the field, though, since it’s designed specifically as a workstation... Read More

I've got VRPCs dot com. Might try and get it developed in time for the holiday season.
