Verisign shares are down 56% and at a 52-week low.

Will that eventual GreatDomain's "SMP" ($5,000 and under) be affected?!? Whose piggybank will support such a venture if not Verisign?
Any input would be great ... as I still don't understand what this ("SMP") is all about.
