Another huge step.

First, look at what this site is about:

The first global festival of media creativity and innovation!

That includes the internet. Undoubtedly avant garde artists and the bohemians will use cell phone pics as a means of conveying a new art form.

I love Venice and Italy and have been struggling to find good keywords. Venice and Italy in general are huge international tourist destination.

Venice holds a Biennial international art exhibit. In addition, it holds an annual Venice Film Fest and Regata (Regatta). Surely this site will be a hit.

My only concern is this: when are the cellular phone companies going to band together and dump the roaming charges? They have an opportunity to capitalize and seize the momentum. Wouldn't it be great to be able to take your personal cell phone where ever you go (over seas) and still stay connected? The telecommunication giants need to form some consortium to explore this. Especially for surfing the web. A travel and pocket guide literally in your pocket. As for roaming, sure...charge for international calls. As for connecting to the web? Take your phone anywhere and be there!

Of particular note, I like the use of the hyphen (finally).

Here's something that personifies Venice and is still available. Google results round 370,000. Overture: 468 Only taken in .COM and .Net which dont resolve into actual sites. Even IT (Italy) not taken. Probably not a good one then.

Great name, very historical and internationally know landmark, perhaps one of the most photographed sites in Venice.

I had thought about it but decided it was too long and narrowed the usage.

Instead, I just regged ponte.mobi which in Italian-English is Bridge. Much broader applications. So thanks for the inspiration. I owe you rep, you owe me reg fee.

Excellent find again, gemulder! And binaryman, regarding "BRIDGE OF SIGHS" , I remember jamming out to that old Robin Trower rock song. Wow, that sure brings back some good memories. Any one else remember that one? Happy weekend !

Naw, along with the ponte, there was ponti, SanMarco, GoNV, GoLV, GoGeo...you guy are killing me. All the time pointing stuff out.
