no-one can give you a proper breakdown of how to install a vbulletin hack until you tell them which 1.

Each hack has its own installation process. Some are just a couple of file edits, others are edits and sql installs well as others have a complete install script for you to use.

If you download the hack you want and unzip it you will most likely find a readme file or an install instructions file.
