Hello,
I hope this post finds everyone well and I would sincerely appreciate any input!
I recently established a Portfolio of 9 domains geared towards serving the Elder Care Market and did so with one particular buyer in mind who decided not to move forward. However, throughout the process, I think I have secured some relatively valuable names - especially to the right party.
Recently, one of the domain resellers (I would rather not say who as the offer is still pending) has made an offer in the low XXX range for the Portfolio.
The thing is, although I am still learning, in looking at a couple valuation factors and from my perspective, I think that the entire portfolio is worth AT LEAST a $1,000 and that this is just too lowball of a number.
Anyway, here are the names and why I think they are worth a lot more than a low XXX offer:
HomeCareAdvisory.com
Similar names have sold for thousands. Specifically, HomeCareNetwork.com which sold for $3,288 and HomeCareGiver.com which sold for $5,200.
ElderCareReferrals.com
A related / similar name, ElderCareNetwork.com, recently sold for $3,000 through Afternic in February of 2012.
Another related / similar name, ElderCareAgencies.com, sold for $1,000 through Moniker in June of 2007.
Another related / similar name, ElderCarePlanning.com, sold for $1,000 through Sedo in July of 2006.
The most closely related name currently available for sale is HomeCareReferrals.com which is listed with GoDaddy for $2,588.
LongTermFacility.com
A related / similar name, LongTermCareFacility.com, sold for $2,166 through Afternic in April of 2008.
This domain has exceptional search engine potential as the exact keyword phrase that this domain is composed of, "Long Term Facility", is reported by Google to receive 27,100 Monthly Global Searches and 18,100 Monthly Local Searches!
SeniorHomeProviders.com
The most closely related domain name currently for sale, AssistedLivingProviders.com, is listed at $1,000 through Godaddy.
This is a very brand-able domain name with strong commercial and search engine potential.
It seems likely that a start-up company would want this name for their business at some point making it a wise investment.
GeriatricHousing.com
A short and brand-able domain with strong commercial potential.
FindSeniorsHomes.com
A related / similar domain, CareHomesFinder.com, sold for $4,025 through Sedo in November of 2010.
This is yet another highly brand-able domain name with strong commercial and search engine potential. It also seems likely that a start-up company would want this name for their business at some point.
AlzheimersAdvisory.com
Another short and brand-able domain with strong commercial potential.
SeniorHomeFacilities.com
This domain also has exceptional search engine potential as the exact keyword phrase that this domain is composed of, "Senior Home Facilities", is reported by Google to receive 3,600 Monthly Global Searches and 2,400 Monthly Local Searches!
There is HIGH competition for this keyword phrase according to Google indicating that the people who search for this exact phrase are hot prospects / buyers!
RetirementHousingCommunities.com.
Yet another domain with exceptional search engine potential, the exact keyword phrase that this domain is composed of, "Retirement Housing Communities", is reported by Google to receive 49,500 Monthly Global Searches and 27,100 Monthly Local Searches!
There is also HIGH competition for this keyword phrase according to Google indicating that the people who search for this exact phrase are hot prospects / buyers!
Anyway, if you are still with me, thanks for taking the time to read this entire post! I feel strongly that an offer in the four figure range would come in for AT LEAST one of these domains but, quite frankly, I could use the money now so am considering how I might sell them in the short term for something other than the figure I am now looking at.
As mentioned, I am looking for closer to $1K.
Does anyone know of any companies that make reasonable offers and close promptly?
Any thoughts on my valuations and in general would also be helpful and appreciated!
Thanks again!
