discuss Using my Atom WLM to promote my own listings or entire Atom catalog?

Has anyone tried directing their own WLM to promote Atoms' entire catalog? I see a lot of pros to this, but one major con.

Pros:
- Brand recognition and trust from Atoms' wide selection
- 10% commission if a domain is sold via your page
- Buyers can still search for your names (I'm currently performing outreach for 1-3 names)

Cons:
- Less visibility for your names

I'd love to hear your thoughts/experiences on this for anyone using this strategy for their portfolio

Atom WLM is essentially where Atom hosts a website for you to sell domains.

Its all intergrated which is nice.

@D Haynes origially told me about it.

I'm still undecided on whether to show all of the listings or not.

As you say it could make your own site look my legitimate with so many names available for purchase but your own names will get lost in the crowd.

My guess is that most traffic will be going directly to your domains landers and not your home/portfolio page so in theory they wanted your specific name and showing them other options might change their mind.

If for some reason you had a lot of traffic to your portfolio page it might be worth it to show other names as you might earn the commission if the visitor chooses to buy one.

Just some random thoughts. I guess it's too early to say and maybe it might be worth so testing. Maybe a couple months with it on and a couple with it off and see if there's any effect on your own domain sales.

I'm undecided too, I think all the Atom and Escrow branding should be enough for buyer to see it as legitimate, if they do their own due diligence for both those services, the logical concussion would be its not any sort of scam, especially if they're potentially spending thousands of dollars.

On the other hand the commission is very enticing if you have a good number of visters to your site, I imagine its hard to quantify what a ‘good’ number is. These are my current stats from having the site up about a week, I don't think they're that good & I do a lot of outbound.

More testing is indeed needed.

I decided to promote my own listing through atom's WLM, but I didn't put all of my portfolio there, because I also want to try the potential of other market network (like afternic, etc)

Hi, check your SERP for your WLM domain
It shows atom links instead of wlm portfolio. I also got email from Google with 500 error.
