"The US has taken down dozens of Iranian and Iran-linked news sites which it accuses of spreading disinformation.

The sites were replaced on Tuesday with notices saying they had been "seized" as part of a law enforcement action. They included Iran's state-run English-language channel, Press TV."

I find it a bit odd that these news services weren't already using Iran's ccTLD .ir .

I can understand that the US has jurisdiction over .com, .net etc, but it was interesting that .tv was also blocked as it is ccTLD of the British Commonwealth nation of Tuvalu, though now run by Verisign in the US.

Spare me. if it was his predecessor, we wouldve ER full of Covid and people wit ulcers. Iranian propaganda domains matter.

Real talk, Iran just elected a new leader;
transition is in 6 weeks;
any chance of nuclear peace deal should now;
since next guy more hard-liner.
US-Iran relations have never great;
not surprisin in least bit, just under Biden Lol
