I recently received this message on a UK-based site, where my domain was for sale:
I have replaced the name with ### - probably changes each time.
Please don't make the same mistake i did, and reply! Total scam - after i quoted him a price and pointed out that a domain did not need 'picked up', he offered me 3 times the amount quoted (as a reserve) and asked me to transfer the difference back to him! :bah:
I would guess that it's either a stolen chequebook, or some money laundering scam - either way, avoid!
