I am designing a site, http://www.freepgs.com/zonoid/ , and I have decided to scale the image on the front page by percent. It works well when viewed in Firefox, (nothing is too wide and it resizes in a square), but when I view it in IE, the image is too wide and unless the browser window is in a square shape, the image isn't.

Secondly, I would like to put text on the left side of the image explaining what the site does. How would I go about doing this?

Thanks!

This is problem :

<table width=35% height=35% cellpadding=0 cellspacing=0 border=5 bgcolor=white><tr><td valign=center align=middle><IMG SRC = "images/rand.gif" ALT = "I'm cool with that!" height = "100%" width = "100%"></td></tr></table><BR>

You use % ,my advice is define table height and width without % ,
something like this ( in css sheet )
<table width="200px" height="300px" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="5">
and for background use image with 100% (of the table )
Define also position of the table in css

Okay, thanks! That solves the first problem.

Is there any way I can put text on the left side of the front page image without frames or CSS? If I would need to use CSS, could you give me the exact code? Thanks!

Give me exactly what you want ,send me by email pictures and text and i will write whole code for your page ( it is easier for me ) Of course it would look like your current page now :) I mean the position of picture will be centered and text will be on left side of the picture
