.tv .tv American English or British English ?

which one do you think works better with .tv
american english or british english
i.e. center.tv or centre.tv

overture scores of both are close to each other
google results for american english is higher

google results for keyword+tv are close to each other

Tough choice.......
My experience the last few years is that in forums I tend to meet more people NOT from the US, then those that live here. So in a place like this I would say go for the British.

But for the market, which is where you want to sell to, unless you just want to sell to a reseller, I would go with the American version.

On the other hand, I would consider buying both, parking them for 30 days and then dumping the failure. Chances are either would bring more then reg fee anyway.

And a final bit of blah....while they are great keywords, how do they fit with TV. If tv takes off as the Media megadomain that is being propose, then center.tv either way would need some 'splaining as to how it fits.

kind of like .com vs .co.uk. Who's your target market. If I saw centre.tv I would figure it's a brit site and would not interest me as much.

target market is united states so i decided to register american english word
if british english one will be registered and developed, then it means i have a potential buyer

criticize movie/film,
criticize anything seen on tv (commercials, violence, sex)
criticize politicians
criticize school testing
........

I believe, I might be wrong, that .TV more widespread in the UK than in the States. Odds of traffic then are higher with british english.
