Audit them. Pricks. Block hwy in Alberta again. Revenue Canada should send each one in convoy a letter saying revenue canada wants to see your paperwork.
I am going to buy a carton of native smokes. Oka brand, have all the homeless block bridge next saturday. Turn the convoy into a campout
None of this looks good for the truckers working.
I stopped yesterday to let one make a left turn. Guy behind me blowing his horn. FU no trucker, no food.
Farmers, blah. I can live off meat

Dropping the mandates would be an easier solution...

CEO of Canada's largest trucking company says...

“We have a few drivers that still say no, but what we do with them is we just keep them in Canada" — a strategy adopted by several large transport outfits but less available to smaller ones.

The vast majority of TFI's Canadian drivers are inoculated against COVID-19, Bédard said, adding that an eventual end to the exemption for cross-border truckers had been predictable. It was announced by the federal government on Nov. 19 and took effect Jan. 15.

He said last month looked like "the best January ever for the company," coming after a fourth quarter that saw profits jump by more than two-thirds and revenue leap by 91 per cent.

"The biggest issue for us really in January is sick people in the U.S. with COVID..."

A lot of the truckers would like to go back to work but they lost their jobs do to the mandates. The Canada government created the problem in the first place by implementing the mandates. If the mandates never happened everything would be running normally.

Saskatchewan is dropping the vaxx passport on February 13th. Jason Kenney apparently is having a conference later today to discuss the mandates. Didn't Jason say he was going to lift all mandates back in July 2021?

Big shout out to the truckers speaking out for us!
https://www.castanet.net/news/Canad...Canada-to-put-an-end-to-border-protest#359649

Automaker Ford of Canada is running its plants in Oakville, Ont., and Windsor at reduced capacity today, saying the disruption at the bridge could have widespread impact on automakers on both sides of the border.

Meanwhile, Stellantis says U.S. and Canadian plants cut short second shifts Wednesday night due to parts shortages caused by the closure of the bridge.

Working stiff pay cheques be a little short next time.

You can thank the Trudeau government for the shortages... Drop the mandates and everything will go back to normal. Members of Trudeau's own caucus are starting to turn on him...

I strongly believe this is Trudeau's favorite quote...

My mind is made up - don't confuse me with facts

This is all just political now. All governments fault.
See in Canada we dont vote governments in, we vote them out 🇨🇦

It was all politics from the get-go, vaccine mandates was just the catalyst. Glad truckers stood up and made their point. Now they can leave as heroes or stay as zeros. Expect copycat convoys in the US not to be as polite.

This is the message from the truckers... they just want to sit down and talk with the PM (@15:00 he clarifies that an overthrow of the government was never on the table)

An Ipsos poll published Thursday and conducted exclusively for Global News showed that nearly 46 per cent of Canadians say they “may not agree with everything” the trucker convoy says or does, but the frustration of protesters is “legitimate and worthy” of sympathy.

As far as political inclinations go, the polling showed 59 per cent of Conservative voters agree with the frustration expressed by the convoy protesters, while 44 per cent of Bloc, 43 per cent of NDP and 30 per cent of Liberal voters are aligned with the view that the convoy protesters deserve sympathy.

Those aged 18 to 34 who sympathize with the truck convoy protesters are at 61 per cent, while those aged 35 to 54 are 44 per cent and those 55 and older are much less likely to agree, and are at 37 per cent.

“What we’re seeing in the numbers is that it’s younger people who are most interested in the message of the people who are occupying downtown Ottawa…so their belief in all of this is that this is less about the politics and more about genuine suffering that’s taking place among a group of the population that they can sympathize with,” Bricker said.

He added that as far as politics are concerned, there isn’t “unanimity in any political party at the moment.”

It's also mainstream media's fault:

Fact Check-Trudeau’s joke about paying media is taken out of context

"The clip is a part of a longer speech from the Parliamentary Press Gallery dinner on May 4, 2019, traditionally an event where people give comical and satirical speeches. A full video of the speech can be seen (here) (at 38:58).

Verdict
Missing context. Justin Trudeau’s reference to paying the media $600 million was meant as a joke."

My bad. It was $595 million and not $600...

From the same article posted above:

In 2018, The Globe and Mail reported the country’s media would be getting a $595 million package as part of Ottawa’s fiscal update (here). The Canadian government also financially supports the Canada Media Fund (cmf-fmc.ca/about-us/), (here), a public-private organization supporting media content creation in the country.

You have to be careful with those fact check articles. They can be very deceiving sometimes.

The article does show that the short video clip was taken out of context in a way that's deceptive. And they did bring up what you posted, as well. So the article doesn't appear to be deceptive.

I hope Ford tear gasses them

Half the convoy funds coming from america the beautiful where dead people vote
https://www.castanet.net/news/Canad...esters-funds-from-U-S-as-they-turn-to-Bitcoin

Their just trying to cause turmoil. Just like Putin played the game when Hillary came in second.
Blame trudeau. Blame media.
Blame someone for your own confusion
Trudeau could also talk with them. That would be a better solution. Nobody wants a repeat of what happened over 10 years ago. Do you remember the G20 protests?

How would Trudeau know where the fundraiser money is coming from? I don't think the fundraiser companies share this information publicly.

Social media and the boosting of this protest by American politicians represents a spillover of American culture wars and information disorder polluting other countries’ politics in the process.

"In some ways, the situation in Ottawa has evolved into a proxy battle for the American right," said Jacob Remes. “They just like the idea of a bunch of white truckers being in a national capital and fucking shit up.”
