Travel or tours

Greetings!

I am contemplating on a domain with either a travel or tours in it.
Which one do you prefer most and why?

I personally have a leaning on tours, but it seems that the domain is not readily available (about to expire though). The travel part is still available.

Tours sounds a lot better. It kinda sounds more luxurious, and travel sounds more like work

Well, travel.com is much more valuable than tours.com so xtravel.com should be better than xtours.com
But i also noticed that people in non-english speaking countries prefer tours.
Canadatravel.com or Canadatours.com. What would you choose and why?

I think it Depends what kind of service it is - the word "tours" implies more of a structured or guided holiday IMO

It depends on your keyword and your product and the degree that branding vs. search volume is meant to play a role, but, in the general case, based on OVT numbers, it is not even close in favor of "travel" as a travel search term:

OVT is only part of the answer, of course, but a useful item to know
