that a decent domain (a .com) today will be worth much more in ten years. I know this question is kinda general and hard to say, but just if you had to answer what would you say? When I say much more, how much more do you think it will be worth? Thanks for anyone who understands this question.

I am not sure how many ppl would agree with me. however here is MHO.

New TLDs are getting introduced, targetting the business areas. i agree that .com is the most recognized tld today. but down the line 10 years....i doubt it.

Today the hot names in .com are related to Travel, Autos, real estate, finance, entertainment, communications and few more industries. Some of these fields are already getting their own tlds (.mobi, .tel , .travel etc).

And ccTlds are becoming popular too. In Germany they prefer .DE not a .com

Also Entertainment companies may prefer .TV / .music / .game (who knows?) etc in the future.

Though .com remains valuable, the market hype for the domain names will slowly saturate in next 5 years.

However if they want to sell website.com after 10 years, there will definetly be buyers. but they may not pay 10 x 750K.
