To Reg or Not to Reg?

Many times you want other people's opinions on domains that you do not own yet or you have just registered and you have a five day grace period to keep it or leave it.


It is not advisable to mention names that have not be registered as there are tricky people on here that will take them before you.

Also, I've noticed that some people will have a 5L domain with no vowels and ask people what they think. When they say "it sucks, return it" it's too late and the person feels like they wasted their precious dollars.

Appraisals are only for domains that you own so I have started this thread.

Being said that, I am in private auction for two domains:

still.org
and
emcd.com

I want opinions.

I did a search on MCD and it looks like it's mcdonalds Stock code. Perhaps eMCD.com in the future where you order online??

And if this piece of info makes the auction rise to 4K than so let it be

I just see emcd as yet another 4 letter domain and its value is decreasing recently. Bid only to wholesale price. Don't overbid.
still.org okay yes it is a word but doesn't have any great meaning so low value.

i saw still.org coming up, my thoughts were i'd be happy if i could snag it for reg fee. could be an ok name for a meditation site, bottled water company, or some vague activist/ political site. but i wouldn't spend much more than that chasing it, personally.

as for the LLLL i think i'd agree with ^

emcd.com definitely calls for development as it's subject to imagination of the developer in regards to it's meaning.

still.org is a word in itself, given the same budget/time for development i say the still.org will arise with more value and even attract end-users of which ngo, or organizations will be your prospect end-user.
