I just want to give everyone a few tips on how to sell a domain name for a little extra.

First, you need to have a domain name that can stick in everyone's mind. (Which means that the domain is really easy to remember)

Second, your website should be fully developed. (No broken links, Every page has content.)

Third, Your website should look professional. (Neat, Clean and the colors should be eyecatching.

Forth, Your negotiating strategy. (Try to persuade the client into paying more money)

Examples are as follows:
-Tell them that they have another bidder that is challenging their bid (But make sure you say that their bid is the one you want. Dont sound fake!)
-Have others tell the bidder how great your site is.

These are a few tips on how to make your site sell for more!

For shure this helps, but the key for "more" is your negociation strategy and the correspondent research on the buyer (if possible).
