Over the years I've registered a dozen or so what I consider to be "timely domains". Timely domains can come from sports, politics or current news and events.

Most of you know when Caitlin Clark set the all time scoring record for NCAA basketball (for both men and women), i registered a domain in recognition of her special accomplishment. Speaking of "timely", i registered the domain within hours of the occasion.

Listening to the news this am, I heard Nikki Hailey (Republican candidate for President of the United States) say that she was going to vote for her opponent Donald Trump for President. Her reasoning; "Biden has been a catastrophe"

You may be able to guess the 2 word domain I registered that has to do with both Biden and the noun catastrophe. No one ever owned or registered the domain before now:xf.wink:

Thanks Nikki.....youda man:ROFL:

ps. anyone else like to share their timely domains or care to comment.

Another Timely Domain;

DispicableDemocrats.com
The word is "despicable", not "dispicable".

Registering a two word typo domain...

Brad....i can't thank you enuf. I really didn't recognize the typo but since you brought it to my attention i was able to register;

DespicableDemocrats(.)org and get this, DeplorableDemocrats(.)org . Of even greater significance, guess who owns the .com with both those domains? Simply go to DespicableDemocrats.com and you'll see:xf.eek:

I wasn't sure this thread could get any more despicable after seeing non veterans register VeteransFor political domains...

Simply go to DespicableDemocrats.com and you'll see:xf.eek:

We will see that the domainKing has known how to spell despicable correctly since at least 2016?

Whereas thatNameGuy has known how to spell despicable correctly since at least 2024.

:xf.cry:.....don't know whether to laugh or cry Chris. I never told you or anyone else I'm a Vet. However I have hundreds (yes hundreds) of friends who are Vets, and my Dad Carl Ike Morris served in WWll......so what actually is your problem Chris:xf.rolleyes:.....you may want to get some help.

Would dIspicabledemocrats be a timely typo?

so what actually is your problem Chris:xf.rolleyes:

Problems:

1. Sporks: Why are they not yet the gold standard for plasticware?

SporkTown.com dropped in June for any of you spork enthusiasts

2. Sign Holders: Thank you for reminding me that all these political sign holders are just people displaying words. There is no prerequisite to be a sign holder or domain owner, so if any random guy wants to hold a Lesbian Lawyers For Trump/Harris sign or register whatever random domain then that is their free speech.

The reader of those domains or signs, however, might feel a little catfished if they come to realize that Lesbian Lawyers For Trump/Harris was just a slogan made by some random dude trying to get their political candidate elected.

3. Internet Traps: Writing/Reading useless posts like this that wastes everyone's time.

They aren't meant to be serious. The OP makes posts like this a few times a year to entertain us. The big one before this was about suing GoDaddy for revising appraisals overtime.

My favorite thread of his was pushing .online to be the next .xyz. I think that one went bad because GoDaddy is the only registrar on the planet and they wanted too much for .online renewals. Something that didn't come up at the bar when luring in investors at the pub. The .link thread was kind of the same thing so it wasn't as fun.

You're right!

... and thanks to a new namePros update, it's easier than ever to laugh and smile!

About half of my domains are name specific using names like Trump, Biden or Harris, but the other 50% are more generic like DispicableDemocrats.com, VoteRightway.com or FlipthatSeat.com. It's domains like these that have a longer shelf life and can be used by anyone, anywhere, anytime.
Right, but like I said, only POTUS/VP last name .com combinations are valuable, like TrumpVance.com, or a politician's first plus last name if you somehow get that. Or, to a much lesser extent, a politician's surname plus the year they're running for president.

Everything else is a waste of money unless you get press attention somehow (just buying the domain and writing it on a piece of cardboard doesn't count). It's weird how your response to people telling you your domains are worthless is to just keep announcing that you're wasting more money on more worthless domains.

Especially the one that was both unwieldy and spelled wrong, and then you doubled down on that mistake by buying non-.coms of the correct spelling of a term that nobody will ever type into their URL bar in a million years.

I think the only thing that went over someone's head is your ability to understand how a forum works.

Meanwhile, in the real (but still online) world, my HarrisWalz.com domain is doing numbers today because people on Twitter have found it. It will probably all be over tonight or tomorrow morning, but at least I had some fun and amused some people with my very cringe, basic website.

Twitter + MSM

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/poli...6-hes-sitting-on-harriswalzcom-now/ar-AA1ohYL

I hope you're tracking analytics, if for nothing else research purposes!

These domains are HarrisWalz.com, HarrisPritzker.com, and HarrisRichmond.com.

I hadn't been watching the VP pick too closely, but now I'll be rooting vicariously through your domains... Good luck us!

This cycle, I have domains for three out of the eight possible VP picks that have received vetting materials from the Harris campaign. These domains are HarrisWalz.com, HarrisPritzker.com, and HarrisRichmond.com.

If Walz, Pritzker, or Richmond is picked, does this offer still stand? Or will you raise the price?

And/or is this tweet even you? I don't see the domains listed on Communer...

Woah I see HarrisWalz dot com has a bratty lookin' page now.

Don't make us feel like we fell out of a coconut tree, please keep us informed on the happenings :D

All of my 2024 cycle political domains redirect to listings for the domains on my brand name marketplace, Communer.com. The listings have been getting a decent amount of traffic (a couple hundred visitors a day), which raises awareness of Communer. And if Harris actually does pick Walz, Pritzker, or Richmond (I doubt she'll pick Richmond), then I'll probably get some press coverage and links for Communer out of it.

You chose wisely investing in HarrisWalz.com.
I expect you'll get your sell wish within the next two weeks.

Good luck.

💯 The most timely domain in this thread by far!!!

Even with @ThatNameGuy working over time to spam this thread with what Brad said domains.

@CoalToNewCastle We get that you are in the business of trademark squatting.

But you might consider announcing yourself as the greatest political domain investor.
I get it, you embrace the cybersquatting smear but the rest of us are trying to avoid TMs.

Every year a few million is wasted on frivolous UDRP related cases.

Domain investors don't get much media attention but when we do yelling at the top of your lungs to the media that you are a cyber squatter reflects horribly on the rest of us.

Possibly you don't care about the rest of us but we are rooting for your success.
Just keep in mind that your rhetoric potentially undermines the rest of us by default.

Which trademarks is he squatting on? His website literally sells trademarks.

Which trademarks is he squatting on? His website literally sells trademarks.

You'll have to ask him.
He told NPR he is The Goat of CyberSquatters.

https://www.npr.org/2024/08/06/nx-s1-5065640/harris-walz-website-domain-name-cyber-squatter

His words: “I also freely call myself a domain squatter or a cybersquatter,” he says. “It's a pejorative term, but I don't mind using it because it's still accurate.”

Not the way I'd introduce myself as a representative for an industry under relentless attack from over-zealous domain hijackers. Its a missed opportunity to shine a positive light on the niche investing we do while deflecting some of the negativity away from domaining.

The GOAT political domain investor is more appropriate.

He's not squatting on any trademarks, but his domain will be moot when this appears on billboards and handheld signs across America;
