who absolutely hates ticket touts? :td:

every event i want to go to and they are appearing on ebay for ridiculous sums of money

Take "T in the Park" for example

http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/sea...=compare&copagenum=1&coentrypage=search&fgtp=

i have decided to camp for tickets for the scotland euro 2008 qualifier next month..never though id have to do that :td:

i think ebay should ban the sale of tickets apart from those being sold at face value....it prevents true fans from going to these sort of things :td:

I camped for tickets for the Italy 06 game. I had tickets, but my brothers didn't and had been to every game before then, but the Tannadice staff had taken a large amount of the tickets for themselves, so even though my brothers had been there for hours, and were about 20th in the queue they didn't get tickets. I got them some great ones from the corporate tickets which hadn't been taken up.
I'll be camping out for the qualifiers too and joining the SSC when I'm 18 - no point joining the "youth club" at all.

Luckily I'm not really wanting to go to T in the Park this year, but if I was, I'd just get tickets for Oxegen in Ireland (presale for regged people is tomorrow, but I doubt I'll buy any). Its exactly the same line-up as T in the Park except Oxegen has Daft Punk aswell (they refuse to play UKgigs) and on the same weekend. :tu:

Ticket touts are a pain in the arse though. Last year for T in the Park a woman bought two
used tickets for it, to be delivered straight after the event for £250. I'm also not able to go to see KOL becuase of touts :td:

Always like that.

There's an event I want to attend and the presales were available without any passwords given out. Everyone was guessing the passwords and I finally guessed it after 2 hours it was available for presale. All good tickets were already taken! :(

I got 2 crappy tickets and listed them for sale on eBay.

Now I have to pay $400 for a pair of tickets which would cost me $160 directly from ticketmaster :(

I believe the resale of tickets on eBay is frowned upon, but not against their terms.

There was talk of the resale of tickets becoming illegal, full-stop, and I think eBay will stop it (In the UK) in due course.

is tannadice the best place to get them.. i think 46,000 tickets have been pre bought by the tartan army supporters club..that leaves only about 10,000 tickets to do the general public including the away support :td: is there a phone number you can call to get them?
