I noticed, in the 2007 .TV Sales thread, that there is only one Premium .TV name in the top 50 Sales... listed on the first page of the thread.

If this is not an (*) omission issue, meaning there are more premiums on the list but they are simply missing the asterik tag, than I'm wondering what are your thoughts on this market reality versus .TV registar "Premium" name pricing rational (which does not exist for .com's, btw).

My recent sale of TheHill*TV shows that a "premium domain name", like beauty... is in the eye of the beholder.

I wouldn't worry or be concerned about it. There are quite a few sales that do not make that list. I know I am involved in two that are in the x,xxx range. I am pushing for no non-disclosure because I know it will help promote the extension but I understand a buyer's desire for this provision.

Don't worry, once Demand Media re-releases the premiums, you will see tons of Premiums... SOLD!

Is there an official date that the premium names are going to be rereleased?

And how are they going to release them? Will it be on a first come basis or what. I don't really understand how they can do it fairly?

There is one particular premium name that I would really like to secure and develop. Any tips on how to register it first.

Thanks

Well first off their are omissions
DVD.tv premium $500 a year
Ma.tv Premium originally $1000 I believe Gamehouse got a discount
Rebel.tv $100 premium
Infomercials NOT INFOMERCIAL was sold and I believe that was a $500 premium
Broadway.tv may have been a premium I do not know for sure.

Premiums have not been available I do not believe there will be a way to be first in line and why should their be? These registrations should have never been stopped 12/12/06 it was just a way for Demand Media to check traffic and register some they wanted first. But you never know which way they will open them the pricing is already set just look at your address bar after you put one in the Number after the = is the price, at least for right now

Very good question, how can this be done fairly if more than two are interested in the name??.... I have spoken about this at length....the only "fair" way I see this happenning is trhat all interested parties to a name get a mass email and the first to pick up the phone and secure the name wins it so to speak..........otherwise I do not see how all "interested parties get a fair chance"
