I think this will be a hard sell with how narrow the domain niche is for domains without super strong keywords. It is definitely brandable for a domain information/guide website, but I find it hard for it to get more than low $xx reseller. Your best bet would be to develop it, IMHO.

'TheTLD' = '.com' to me.

I'd maybe accent the 'The' instead of downplaying it, as in 'THETLD.com', and set up a site specializing in dot coms. That might be selling them, news on them, leasing and financing them, .........

Or sell it with that angle as part of your sales pitch.
