I do my homework before voting, I don't follow the crowd, and populist politicians are merely bottom-feeders.

As does any smart voter. Populist politicians arise when the "acceptable" politicians marginalize much of society - essentially forcing them into populism.

Soros was recently awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom (along with Bono, Hillary Clinton, Denzel Washington and Michael J. Fox).

Musk has been busy on X and Rogan's podcasts throwing insults in attempts to disparage Soros' record of philanthropy. I can understand Elon's animosity, since George was a strong anti-apartheid supporter in SA as Elon was brought up in a wealthy white family that prospered in the racially segregated society.

And I suppose Elon doesn't like the fact that Soros has given nearly 70% of his fortune to charity (tens of billion$$) while Musk donates some money, but mostly to his own foundations, and his promised payments are past due.

By hiding this fact, Trump uses excuses to gaslight the American public in order to pick their pocket... the excuse that fentanyl and migrants are pouring through the Canadian border so we must punish them. Well, 1% of all the fentanyl that comes into the states comes through Canada, while less than 1% of the illegal immigrants coming into USA come through Canada. We are working to reduce that number, but why should Canada be on the hook to satisfy Trump's border lies, US does nothing to protect ours?

I'm not an insurance adjuster. Insurance companies see the extent of damage caused by wildfires, hurricanes, floods etc. caused and exacerbated by Climate Change and have raised their rates to compensate for the losses.

It all depends on what I am getting for my 25% increase , my country back? I”ll pay a 50% increase for that , because I know it will be temporary, a year, maybe two at the most.
