If that's your concern, then it has already been bent beyond all recognition - and not to the benefit of the public. Why worry about what you think might happen when bad-enough has already happened and nobody cares? Always "Trump this, Trump that." If Trump disappeared tomorrow you would still have all this disenfranchised and alienated voters who he spoke for. What's your solution to that - concentration camps? Or, perhaps actually listening to them and taking their needs seriously?

All women didn't even have the right to vote in Switzerland until 1974, when the last canton finally gave in. They have stayed completely out of the EU, which is supposed to bring so many benefits. They are very strict on immigration as well. They have low taxes and are generous to businesses.

Switzerland maintain an open border with the EU. They are not members of the EU, but are part of the single market of the EU. The only place they enforce their border is at their airports. Immigration isn't a problem as they welcome everyone.

The US and its minion states are deluged with immigrants who oppose their values - and the education system has taught young people to separate into tribes defined by victimhood and skin color.

That's exactly 100% wrong. It's decolonization and integration that have occurred in the US. You have elderly white racists terrified of being governed by people of color. All those "tribes" are one voice. This is what happens when you make "We The People" a reality instead of dehumanizing them as merciless savages.

Also note that most of these referendums are by canton, not nationwide. Even a tiny country like Switzerland knows enough to allow locals to have a greater say than the central government. Imagine of the US used that system, with 100s of cantons each choosing what they thought was right for themselves.

I can see it now. Fort Worth would go to war with Dallas. Get the popcorn out.

Manchin is an interesting candidate , if he decides to run... they have to go super large to have any chance, I always say Michelle Obama , But they could pull some one in that would make the election exciting , all kinds of varibles, but like Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Obama

Manchin's chances are in negative numbers. Even the DNC won't touch him. Michelle Obama isn't going to do it. She's not as narcissistic as Hillary Clinton. Oprah's not going to give up her houses in Telluride and Montecito and for some government housing.

The other thing is that Trump's political success is down to the DNC's wild and epic failures. It's not down to Trump. or even Trump's supporters. His failure to brand, and the absence of signage/flags, played a big part of Trump's downfall in 2020. But his win in 2016 was because Clinton turned out to be the worse candidate. Trump was never supposed to win.
