I guess you did say you'd vote for Biden no matter what. Will be interesting to watch the 2024 drama, if it's close it will take 4 days ago to count the votes (some of which may be illegal to help Biden). That being said I think Trump will win next year.

I imagine my thoughts would be the same as every other time you asked that question. I would scroll back and screenshot it. Thankfully Biden has greater approval ratings which will translate into another glorious victory yet again, another landslide

The polls of close race between Trump and Biden make me question DeSantis, if he can rally enough support in the primary DeSantis might beat Biden. However, Trump can also beat Biden. We shall see what happens with over 1 year until election day. It will be a day or maybe days of drama lol.

Yeah, that's the only reason behind someone other than Trump is that both him and Biden are so old, I think being a few years younger may help Trump. Then depending on the countries mood about the economy it may help Trump. If we have a 2008 style housing crisis it would make a Trump win easy. Also, another idea behind someone other than Trump is that they could run for re-election and Trump can only run 2024 (if he wins), not 2028. The other thing that could hurt Biden and result in angry Democrats is if they have a strong liberal third party candidate like if RFK were to get mad about the rigged dem. primary and run as an independent.

Canada has provided more economic support on a GDP/per capita basis than USA and we don't even have an international treaty with Ukraine (re: Budapest Memorandum).

I think a draw is what we need to hope for at this point. Cease fire ... I would love to see Putin pull out... but... its really unlikely. the Russians will keep coming at Ukraine like Red Ants ... It would be similar to if the US and China got into a conventional war IMO.. Yeah.. we can fight them. but we can't outlast them... we don't have the people power to.. Giving Ukraine more money to maintain against Russia is not the answer.. they can maintain. For now.. but ultimately, they do not have enough manpower to win the war IMO

Had Finland thought that way, they would have fallen under the Iron Curtain during the Winter War. Despite overwhelming military and manpower superiority (tanks, aircraft and 1 million troops) vs. 100,000 angry Finns, Russia was held off and with no support from the West.

Times have changed and the US defense industry has become its own behemoth, beyond even the reach of the Pentagon. That's a scary enough thought that US doesn't need a radical leader at the helm.

there is honor for sure.... but no one can tell the Right how if this war continues, How Ukraine can possibly sustain and win the war... numbers and sense... Russia has a population that can keep going for years to come. If the war gets any more messy than it already is.. China could very well enter the war ..

Ukraine has the support of America and many other countries, many that border Ukraine and don't want Russia as their neighbor.

You ever think maybe Russians themselves get tired of it and somebody just handles Putin? Normal Russians don't want this mess, many families are losing their sons over this war Putin started.

It's amazing to see all these anti-American Republicans wanting to stop supporting Ukraine. If that happened, Putin would win, that would be money gone to waste right? But then we would still be paying, even more, and possible lives if that happened.

It seems a lot of right wing politicians are getting advice from uneducated right wing social media. It's amazing to read the comments. Really stupid and weak.

Indeed, it is a David and Goliath scenario in Ukraine. I don't see how Ukraine can win the war, but a stalemate is definitely possible. When average Russians feel the economic impact, realize the brutality and futlility of their leader's conquest, perhaps there will be a regime change. European nations also have to step up, for they will feel the immediate impact if Ukraine falls.

Yes, China could very well enter the arena, especially if emboldened by US' withdrawing support for Ukraine. What would stop Xi from invading Taiwan, the Taiwanese army? There will be more fronts to fight and direct US involvement.

we don't know what going to happen next year--both of the old white geezers could be in nursing homes hospice and helping each changing diapers and cleaning dentures and helping each other chew their food.
They are enemies now but will be become close roommates in the nursing homes.

I have a rough idea based on the stats and him being far ahead. We shall see what happens that's why I said if nothing changes. Right now he's a shoe-in for GOP nod and also tied with Biden for the oval office.
