Ummm, "good people"?

A good example of what I was talking about. A complete fabrication created by so-called reporters and journalists employed by billionaires. Yet repeated to this day. They create these lies on a daily basis almost. These are not people who need protecting. They are scum. Real journalists need protecting - corporate propagandists are vile. And here you are, a thoughtful guy, repeating their lies even though the truth is out there for those who care about it.

You omitted the smilies, lol, what happened to your sense of sarcastic humour? :xf.wink:

Of course taken out of context changes the original message:

Reporter: "The neo-Nazis started this. They showed up in Charlottesville to protest --"

Trump: "Excuse me, excuse me. They didn’t put themselves -- and you had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides. You had people in that group. Excuse me, excuse me. I saw the same pictures as you did. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name."

Reporter: "George Washington and Robert E. Lee are not the same."

Smilies are all yellow. And suggestively male. I believe they are racist illustrations that are mocking/appropriating Asian culture and furthering white supremacist patriarchy. Not to mention smilies and memes have a deleterious effect on the ability to communicate with words.

So what? Trump was correct, there was a group of people there that didn't want to change the name of the park or remove the statue. Probably out of tradition, maybe racism but they were not there to commit violence.

The radical on either side were there to cause trouble and they did. Trump is divisive but not as powerful or divisive as the media. People are attracted to because they are fed up with political correctness, the idea everything they grew up with is wrong, "birthing people", there is no difference between "men and women".

Free people get angry when you force lies on them. Trump is a lot of things but he's not politically correct or afraid to say the truth even when it offends the powerful.

PIERS MORGAN: I'm getting no satisfaction from seeing the Rolling Stones surrender to the woke brigade - when the charts are full of rappers glorifying violent sex, misogyny and guns, why is Brown Sugar the song that's deemed offensive?
When the Rolling Stones appeared on the Ed Sullivan show back in 1967, lead singer Mick Jagger changed the words to their smash hit 'Let's Spend The Night Together' to 'Let's Spend Some Time Together.'

This was because the original sex-hinting lyric was deemed too offensive for ultra-conservative American TV viewers to endure.

But it's now been revealed that the Stones have stopped performing one of their biggest ever hits, Brown Sugar, due to complaints that it, too, is unacceptably offensive.

U.S. to reopen its land border to fully vaccinated Canadians in early November

Canadians have been unable to enter the United States by land for non-essential travel for 19 months. Canada and the United States imposed restrictions in March, 2020, as the pandemic was spreading. This past August, Canada adjusted these controls to allow fully vaccinated Americans to enter, now US is reciprocating.

Whatever. The government has been nothing but lies since the pandemic started. It's like Red Light Green Light - completely random and cruel. My niece is a nurse in Canada, and is worried about all the nurses who may soon lose their jobs unless they submit to vaccination...

They could always enter through Mexico. Wide open with free rides to the interior.

Racist liberal looses two jobs over racist tik-tok

This woman identifies as indigenous by virtue of her distant Okinawa roots. The irony is this: if she ever moved to Okinawa, they would consider her a crazy white American. And would be eager to be rid of her, if she acted the way she does in her videos.

Can you imagine being one of her kids? What a miserable way to go through life; hatting people and pitying yourself because of the color of your skin.

Why is this brainwashed, white hating, Liberal abortion with distant Okinawan roots trying to disastrously speak the Queens English with an American accent, but even more important... why is she still living in a white majority country?

Why doesn't she immigrate to the Sahara desert, or Saudi Arabia... hardly any whites there to bug the shit out of her!

I'm sure chyna would make her feel welcome; no opposing views there.

I always wonder the same thing. They always threaten to leave (as if anyone cares) but rarely do. I ask the same question of white people here who endlessly complain about Japan. I get that there are problems. Everyplace has problems. And maybe the country a person resides in is just not a good fit for them. No shame in that. These people are just professional whiners. Like a 24 year old kid staying at home and sponging off his parents while he complains about life. It's a big world, and I have a list of places I would like to try living if I ever tire of Japan.

But I think she likes the social media attention she gets by whining.

I was taught that instead of complaining about a situation, do something to change it, leave if you can't change it, or just shut up.
