What are they planning... to put sex police with sex pistols in every bedroom? What the hell? He has nothing else to do?
California law prohibits secretly removing condom during sex
Poor Liberals... so fucking brainwashed! You don't like Columbus, then go back to where your forefathers came from!
Christopher Columbus... one of the GREAT explorers and navigators the world has ever known....
What I think about Liberals views about Columbus...
The clash of civilizations would have happened sooner or later anyway. At least the way it happened stopped human sacrifice and other atrocities that were customary with locals at the time in a short timespan of maybe a hundred years or two.
Quoting a grifter and a hollwood liberal talking about Donald Trump. I thought you were getting better. Do we need to find you a Trump Hatters Anonymous meeting?
What went wrong with democracy?
Has USA become an oligarchy?
Today, we also acknowledge the painful history of wrongs and atrocities that many European explorers inflicted on Tribal Nations and Indigenous communities. It is a measure of our greatness as a Nation that we do not seek to bury these shameful episodes of our past — that we face them honestly, we bring them to the light, and we do all we can to address them.
@Domainace, notice in Trump world, language like sinister, radical activist and extremist etc. - sounds totally fascist to me.
Not crazy about historical debates when we have so many very real problems facing the world today. Columbus, like 99% of the great leaders we remember in history books, was not a nice man. The world was brutish, and "great leaders" were generally exceptionally brutish. This is the way it was.
We can "face this honestly," but that's never the intent of such speeches as this. The intent is to create tribes and divided loyalties that can be exploited. Yugoslavia saw an ugly war because leaders used historical grievances to excite the lowest emotions. China and Korea both engage in the similar use of historical victimhood. It's not out of the question that they might carpet bomb Japan with nuclear weapons because of this. Tell me how this is helpful?
An honest understanding of history is important. But not an obsession with it. We move on. The issues in front of us are existential. The ones behind us only serve politicians and other psychopaths who hope to sow division and hatred.
What do you suggest Trump folks should call extremists?

What is with the obesssion of preserving symbols of the past that represent despotism? When do they become irrelevant?
When do we draw the line between respecting the beliefs of others and calling it BS?
Ummm, "good people"?
