LOL, my favourite response from you so far. Why are you so wound up if your state is so free? (maybe not so free-thinking)

I live in Oregon. Our state is mostly rural. We are ruled by a tiny sliver of land called Multnomah County, otherwise known as Portlandia filled with crazy liberals, antifa and communist.

Our Gov lifted the mask mandate but requires businesses to make people prove they've been vaccinated. Good luck with that.

Multnomah Falls is pretty...reminded me of home, except for the tourists, lol. Stayed in Portland awhile too, it was always a little messed up IMO, not my kinda place. GLWT

“The US has finally acknowledged that among those who had died of the influenza previously were cases of the coronavirus. The true source of the virus was the US!” one commentator said. “The US owes the world, especially China, an apology,” another said. “American coronavirus,” one wrote.

Why on earth are you citing known Chinese propaganda?

I used to go to Oregon a lot. Almost took a job in Portland, but I was more in love with the remote areas in the central and east. Some fascinating tiny towns out there - seem a world away from the madness.

Popping the Trumpian propaganda...nobody actually knows where it originated. It wouldn't surprise me if it was from China, but just having the first positive test proves nothing. They also said it came from the wetmarket, but there were no bats being sold at the time. WHO investigated and found a far wider spread than that, even among office workers that had no contact with bats. Investigators have even cited other countries too, besides the USA, nobody knows for sure. It's too easy to point fingers and take no blame.

@Domainace, tell me who had most to gain politically from blaming China? Those were some pretty heavy accusations, maybe even part of the plandemic. If we move beyond where it originated, who had the most to gain politically by releasing a vaccine before it was fully tested?

Hint: "Operation Warp-Speed was a tremendous success". :xf.wink:

It's not all about the US. Countries around the world generally agree it came out of China. The wet market theory was debunked ages ago, and that left the nearby virus research lab. And who benefitted from the pandemic? The Democrats obviously.

China had banned all domestic flights in and out of Wuhan, but allowed international departures from Wuhan to take off unhindered. Explain that away.

Anti-US Chinese Professor Criticized After Being Identified as Texas Resident [Epoch Times]
Chen Ping, a Chinese professor with a large following on Chinese social media known for his anti-American sentiments, was recently ridiculed and scolded by Chinese netizens after it was discovered that he’s a resident of Texas, after a severe winter storm hit the state and triggered power outages in mid-February.
According to China’s state media reports, Chen is a senior researcher at Fudan University’s China Institute and a part-time professor at the university’s school of economics.
on Feb. 15, Chen described in an interview with China’s state media outlet Guancha his experience during the Texas snow storm that triggered power outages, and provided a photo of himself with his house in Austin, Texas, behind him surrounded by snow.
Chen’s original intention was to demonstrate America’s vulnerability in the event of extreme weather. However, in doing so, he revealed that he lives in the United States, a country that he has long despised and vilified so many times on China’s social media as well as in his public lectures and interviews.

There is some pretty damning evidence to follow that effects everyone in the world, not just the USA. Why was the science largely ignored by the #1 politician in power at the time? And yet heavily politicized and conspiracy theories launched? Indeed the Dems inherited the mess...

China had banned all domestic flights in and out of Wuhan, but allowed international departures from Wuhan to take off unhindered. Explain that away.

Of course that negligence has been under heavy criticism, there's no excuse. Just as misinformation and disbelief of a virus in the first place, the same as with infamous traction of anti-prevention strategies.

This is an interesting read for anyone that might be open to shedding some light on the subject (retrieved from Google Scholar). Of course, the reader is entitled to his/her own thoughts on the matter (from whatever biased news sources). Likely this article will be dismissed as leftist/socialist propaganda...you decide:

COVID-19 Pandemic: Its Origin, Implications and Treatments

Abstract

This is a succinct and current review of pertinent literature to guide developing serum therapy as an emergent treatment to save human lives at times of natural or genetically engineered viral/bacterial pandemics. The origin of 2019-nCoV and implications of COVID-19 are discussed using direct quotes of published scientific literature to avoid misinterpretation on this very important event that has caused great loss of human lives and international social economy. It is the goal of this review to warn against and to correct international misunderstanding created by deliberate falsification of scientific documentations and events. This misunderstanding may lead to further destruction of life, economy, and political relations. People should not be blind-sighted when making life decisions.

It is my social responsibility, as a scientist, to inform the world of the scientific origins of 2019-nCoV and COVID-19. It is time for scientists to form alliance to speak up and to protect everything that belongs to human society. Left unchecked, COVID-19 will leave us with death, destruction, and grief, only second to the last world war.

Long before the 2019 outbreak of COVD-19 in the USA, Coronavirus of Clades A, B, C, D, and E had already been in the records of American BSL3/BSL4 laboratories. The betacoronavirus of 2019-nCoV belongs to the C Clade. Despite all the bat species in Hubei, only the C Clade has been identified in China. There was no evidence of grand-parents (clade A), parents (clade B), children (clade D) or grand-children (clade E) of the 2019-CoV in China. This provided circumstantial evidence that COVID-19 in Wuhan might have derived from viruses overseas and not from China.

Heaven forbid the thought, but is it possible that China decided to give the US a taste of their own medicine? Afterall, at that time US had threatened not to repay debts borrowed from China (one thousand billion U.S. dollars), for punishing China’s delay in the control of COVID-19.

Arizona auditors walk back claim that election data was deleted

www.mercurynews.com/2021/05/18/arizona-auditors-walk-back-claim-that-election-data-was-deleted/

Auditors hired by the Arizona state Senate backtracked Tuesday from claims that a key database had been deleted from Maricopa County’s elections servers — admitting in a hearing held by the Senate Republicans overseeing the audit that the data is intact and they’d been looking the wrong way.

Voting Machines in Fayette County PA Are Not Counting GOP Votes – Fayette County Uses Dominion Voting Machines
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/20...fayette-county-uses-dominion-voting-machines/

"As Cristina Laila reported earlier — Elections officials in a Pennsylvania County are working to resolve a problem dealing with voting machines rejecting ballots.

Voting machines in Fayette County are only rejecting Republican ballots, according to Chris Varney, Judge of Elections.

At first, Varney was under the impression that there was a problem will the barcodes on all ballots, but it turns out only Republican ballots are being rejected."

Any state legislature that permits Dominion Voting Systems to continue operating in their state anywhere is complicit in the criminal act of voter fraud and denying their citizens their civil right to a fair election.

Yet more misinformation.

Fayette County Commissioner Scott Dunn stresses the ballot issues are across party lines.

“I can tell you both Republican and Democratic ballots are affected by this,” said Dunn.

He said there are problems with barcodes on the ballots. As far as why this is happening, Dunn said it’s not the machines but a third-party printing issue.

Also...

“It does seem to be an issue with how the barcodes were printed,” said St. Rep. Matt Dowling, R – Fayette County.

Dowling told Channel 11, the board of elections informed his office, the barcode issue was impacting both Republican and Democratic voters.

You can imagine the Dems and press if Trump did the same thing. "Trump tries to run over reporter! Threatens the media with death! Worse than Putin!" "All while he laughs about dead Palestinian children!"

But with Biff Biden, the press do their best George McFly impersonation, "Oh, that Joe. He's such a joker."

Your chronology is all wrong.

You asked, and I just gave you an answer. It wouldn't be the first time such tactics were used in a trade war (ie. smallpox infested blankets).

I suppose it all depends on what you mean by allowed international flights. US airlines halted commercial flights January 31, 2020 by presidential proclamation barring foreign nationals from entering US (but who's to say that ex-pats wouldn't carry the virus). That was also the period when the former administration and congress discussed plans to default on loans and the anti-Chinese rhetoric was amped up (and even the fear of war).

However, Chinese airlines still had flights, though reduced (20 flights/week in February and 35/week in March).

https://www.usatoday.com/story/trav...nsions-over-coronavirus-hong-kong/3133820001/

I'm not an economist, but it's well known that China wants to maintain its holdings in US debt in order to moderate the Yuan to keep their export prices down. In fact, since 2019, Japan owns more of the US debt than China.

Brad is cheering mob rule today but will be crying about gerrymandering in a few months. He should move to Venezuela and experience true democracy,.
