This is what it looks like after 4 decades of trickle down tax cuts for the rich. A handful of people control the vast majority of wealth and the middle class is shrinking.

Always the same recycled leftist talking points. You don't know what you are talking about do you?

Before covid became political there was not even one study that proved effectiveness of masks against corona virus spread.

Covid-19 was a new (novel) virus...but that doesn't mean there weren't any studies on the efficacy of masks to prevent viral transmission (ie. SARS, H5N1). The first study I found (using a quick search) was as early as 2008 concluded:

Using intention to treat analysis, we found no significant difference in the relative risk of respiratory illness in the mask groups compared to control group. However, compliance with mask use was less than 50%.

In an adjusted analysis of compliant subjects, masks as a group had protective efficacy in excess of 80% against clinical influenza-like illness.

The efficacy against proven viral infection and between P2 masks (57%) and surgical masks (33%) was non-significant.

Conclusions: This is the first RCT on mask use to be conducted and provides data to inform pandemic planning. We found compliance to be low, but compliance is affected by perception of risk. In a pandemic, we would expect compliance to improve. In compliant users, masks were highly efficacious.

45 threw away the book on pandemic preparedness, therefore USA was literally caught with their pants down. :xf.sick:

Before covid became political there was not even one study that proved effectiveness of masks against corona virus spread. Plenty of examples of Fauci and media only wearing them when they know they are being filmed and observed but otherwise taking them off immediately.

But go ahead and push the mainstream authoritarian narrative on anyone who dares to stray into independent thought. You sure are a hero to the leftist mindset, always trying to control others through ridicule and projection.

Fauci recommends 2 to 3 masks now.

Fauci is a world class doctor and scientist. Gee, I wonder who is more credible on the subject, him or some random asshole ranting about freedumbs on Twitter. Tough call.

You can wear 2 or 3 while Fauci laughs.

He who laughs last laughs loudest...masks are a factor. If you want to know the rest of the equation, I suggest doing the research. :brb:

Not only Fauci is an insider and part of the establishment he also predicted in 2017 "there will be a surprise outbreak" during Trump administration. When funding of Gain of function research of coronavirus paused in US, Fauci backed the scientists in Wuhan China to continue the research.

It was predictable, even my own...didn't you see the signs? It's not rocket science. :xf.wink:

This is before his puppet masters told him to start lying.

Like many leaders...simply a mouthpiece for the powers that be.

The Dunning-Kruger effect is particularly worrisome when considering issues that pose existential threats, like global warming. A 2017 study conducted at the University of New Hampshire, for instance, found that only 25 percent of self-described Trump supporters believed that human activities contribute to Climate Change, although 97 percent of scientists who study climate change agree that they do.
