My ex a long time ago was part black, part Irish, part native American. Always found it ridiculous that mixed races got zero recognition - had to choose team, as it were. This racial thinking is stuck in the 19th century and causes nothing but trouble.

I agree, gerrymandering can be bad. Many career politicians are unbeatable because of gerrymandering.

Now that republican's have taken several state congressional seats and the gerrymandering will go against democrats, I like it again.

Ted Cruz introduced another term limit bill but I doubt it will go anywhere. People like Lindsey Graham might give lip service to but will do nothing.

Term limits were defeated in the 80's and 90's. If we want term limits it will have to be a "grass root" bipartisan demand to change the Constitution.
