Police are mostly uneducated. They choose to be cops over college. I have been able to watch police training first hand. These young men and women need to continue education while working for law enforcement. They are not well educated. It's a big problem. Imagine in rural America. It's crazy!

Don't look at it as LA or NY, look at the problems in deep south, middle america. Much more there.

 

aside from some of them needing field firearm training ... no .... not at all ... almost everyone carries a firearm here in Texas ...

You're right. Very smart people do not stay police very long. They become detectives, lawyers, politicians, even doctors.

We need to require much more training and accountability for police. On the other hand, black community need to take some responsibility for the disproportionate amount of crime they are responsible for. They are the own worse enemy.

Why another civil rights movement is needed.. one focused on family and opportunity. Sen. Tim Scott has some good ideas.

In Canada typically people don't carry firearms, concealed weapons in particular. If transporting or storing guns legally they must be locked up. You can carry firearms for hunting (if licensed). In the north it's different, almost nobody has a license (traditional hunting rights) and most have firearms (few handguns). I typically carry at least bowie knife when I go out into the bush, or firearm to go hunting, but not around town.

here in Texas we had conceal carry passed in 1994.... and open carry followed ... you rarely see anyone open carry... but most everyone conceal carries ... we haven’t had any problems with it .... people don’t act stupid or anything with a firearm here for the most part

Trump: Border security reduced competition for skilled and unskilled labor. Opportunity zones incentivizes private investment in neighborhoods that need it most. - More opportunities, more employment, vertical opportunities through entrepreneurship.

 

Democrats and republicans love the unlimited supply of cheap labor illegal immigration provides.

Democrats will call you racist if you want to secure the border but it's a responsibility of every nation to protect their borders. Protect their citizens.

Republicans will give mouth service to legal immigration while expanding work visa's to high tech companies in exchange for campaign contributions.

Now tech companies are letting people work from home but only paying the prevailing wage in their country. Tech get's richer.

 

1) No law requiring Trump to turn over his taxes.

2) You see his taxes because a democrat broke the law and leaked them to the media. There was nothing, nothing wrong. Trump doesn't know how much he pays in taxes because accountants file them.

3) President Trump is a victim of a unjust, illegal investigation based on a document paid for by a political opponent and authorized by Barack Obama.

Are you voting for the same political party that has been promising change your entire life? Maybe vote for people instead of party.

Right on, I didn't have too much problem with my black powder muskets crossing the border going to re-enactments and pow-wows, but it felt a little disconcerting travelling thru the States with the knowledge that many were carrying concealed weapons and I had none (except my trusty bowie, lol).
