I'm sure I saw a post from the owner/broker of gold.com saying they'd had an offer of 72 million dollars. Might be wrong but I think it was on LinkedIn.

If that is the case then he is foolish, there comes a point where you probably will not get a higher offer your lifetime.

Looking at the list, Wine dot com, is probably the next valuable after gold.

Yeah there's many high 6 (potentially 7) figure assets there.

Gold and Wine are something extra special though, infact i would probably have 'Gold dot com' in my top 10 list of domain names i would like to own on the internet in general.

I believe that post was 3 days ago. I dont know how legitimate the offer or the post is but gold.com would be an awesome name to own.
