I would not like to be the coach of the first team to lose to the:
Yes, I know "Tank for Tua" well.
It reminds me of "Suck for Sam."
Different sport, nothing beats "Trust the process."
Translation for non-sports people: Different phrases for "Tanking." controversial...
Odd....all the teams that won today?
I was for them.
Game coming up, Rams vs Browns?
May break that streak as I am going for the Browns.
Notre Dame lost
Tanking in the NBA would be the easiest thing to fix. Any team that doesn't make the Playoffs, gets an equal shot at the #1 pick. It'll never happen but that would fix it for the most part.
Rams v. Browns. Early season game to see where they're at.
NBA OLD LOTTERY SYSTEM
“Team that ended the season with the worst record, received a 25% chance of snagging No.1 pick, and the odds descended, for teams slated 2 through 14.”
NBA NEW LOTTERY SYSTEM
"Starting in 2019, the three worst teams will each have a 14% chance at the top selection, pitting the bottom three on an even playing field. The fourth-worst team will have a 12.5% chance at the top pick, followed by 10.5% chance, for the fifth-worst team.”
You probably know this. I want to know, what you think. They're trying... One player can change teams’ trajectory, in NBA draft, more than, any other sport.
Didn't know the new system but 14% is still better than some of the others, still have a better chance if you tank. So you have over half of the NBA teams make the Playoffs, 16 teams, 14 teams that don't. Imagine if you had 14 ping pong balls and went in reverse order. First ball chosen is the 14th pick, second is the 13th pick etc. No tanking and they would have some great ratings for that show.
