At this point crypto currency is a far better investment than domains. Just do some homework and invest in new ico's.

For example, a $1200 investment in Stratis would be worth over $50,000 today, less than a year after launch!

Saying anything is risky is a blanket statement. It's risky to buy a domain, car, house, organic food... it's about doing homework before the purchase. So to some people, crypto currency is not risky at all while to you it is. To each his own.
