"They use all the dirty tricks in the book including biased polls (how can Obama be up 58% - 38%?)"

That's not a biased poll, that's Intrade, which we talked about before.

You can read some about them - https://www.google.com/search?q=in+...pw.r_qf.&fp=fd8d87dbf551ab53&biw=1216&bih=510

Based in Ireland, not this country. Prediction market type stuff. People actually putting their money up, buying shares. If you check their history, it's one of the most accurate things out there. They got like 49/50 states right last election, predicted the Electoral vote literally within 1 vote. You can ask somebody, say a Republican who will win the election, they'll probably say Romney. Ask the same person to put a few thousand dollars of their own money up on who they think will win, you might get a different answer.

In regards to MSM, went over that to death. It's funny you keep mentioning that when they go after everybody and where were they when you had Republicans in the White House 12 years straight with Reagan/Bush or when Bush Jr. went 8 years straight, even losing the popular vote?

In regards to Ryan, more stuff I don't like about him. Another anti-science type. Against abortion, even in cases of rape and incest. Against in vitro fertilization, against step cell research etc. Things that can actually help people. So yeah, they fired up their base, but probably fired up the Democrat base even more with that pick. I mean who do they think Republicans are going to vote for, Obama, Democrats? They already have the right vote. They need the independents, moderates. But they keep doing this stupid stuff with picking extreme right type folk and then wonder why they get an ass whippin come election time. It'll be bigger than Obama's win over Bush.

Just wondering what everyone's view is on Romney's tax returns. For me, I know he made a lot of money, but I'd like to see if he was one of the guys who made a killing with the wall street crowd while the rest of the country sank.

I doubt he broke any laws, but I'd be interested in seeing his 07, 08, 09 and 2010 returns. Again, it's not that he makes a lot of money, I don't have any problems with that, but I want to see how deep he was in with wall street during the crash.

That money went somewhere, and I'd like to know if Mitt was one of the guys who walked away without a scratch.

A lot of his money is in guaranteed dividends it would have been largely unaffected. It would also have been taxed at the sky-high rate of about 15% overall.

How we got to the 99% 1% is the same way we'll get to the 99.9% .1%.

A lot of of people are going to be sorely disappointed when they find out they aren't as privileged as they want to think they are.

"99.9% .1%."

Would it be fair to say, that at this point it really does come down to a battle between those at the top? Last man standing, sole survivor, a omnipotent/self regulated company that ends up ruling the world.

I used to think when people were crazed with world domination, that they were just kidding around, making a joke about extremes. How could a reasonable person expect to take over the world, it was just too crazy!

Looks like it may be doable, just build a multinationalmegaconglomerate that can't stop growing.

Romney, remember, whatever he makes per year, from what ever source?
He tithes 20% to the Mormon church.

Something that gets lost in all the hoohaa about what he makes and his taxes paid.

I don't care if he spends 20% of his money at Starbucks or donates it to a Save The Polar Bear charity - so why should I care if he gives to his Church ? It's his money - do what he wants with it at this point.

But as you opened it up. I guess we can confirm this with his tax returns...ha ha ha

(BTW: I don't want to see his largely irrelevant tax returns)

So the liberals never, but never, in 2008 asked for a damn thing to prove obama was legit. No college records, no church records, no tax returns, no nothing!
Yet now they are peeing in the panties because they want Romney to turn over tax returns?

I love the hypocrisy of the left!

Well, what he tithes is tax deductible, so it lowers his taxes and his effective tax rate.
Again, something obama and the liberals fail to mention when they scream that his tax rate was 14%.
Again, the hypocrisy of the left and the continued lying by obama and his campaign.

Ironic that the folks who hounded someone about their birth certificate for years after the election was a done deal should voice objections to their candidate being candid about his tax returns.

If there's nothing remarkable about the returns, what's the big deal? IMO he's just giving his opponents ammunition by refusing - what's the strategy behind that decision? It just looks bad, even though everything may be perfectly fine.

I love the hypocrisy of the right.

PS - In March 2008 Obama released his tax returns from 2000 through 2006.

All 3 of those are not true. I like how people just make stuff up.

Obama college record...SEALED.

You do know he graduated from Harvard Law in 1991, J.D. magna cum laude.

The tax returns enlytend went thru. The church records are ridiculous, they went thru that during the first election. I'd be more interested in Romney's church records, that Mormon stuff that most Christians hanging out in the far right of your party have a problem with.

By the way, with Romney:

"The Washington Times reported that Republican nominee Mitt Romney has not released his college records either from Brigham Young University, or from Harvard, where he earned a law degree and MBA."

What's he hiding? Some super secret stuff we need to know. Plus, he speaks French like that socialist John Kerry.

So to be fair, you should get on him just the same. No college records from Romney, the tax stuff.

I like how some on the right are throwing liberal around. iowadawg would get run up the tree by some people in his party with him being ok with gay marriage and RaiderGirl with being ok with prostitution. How liberal of you guys.

"No college records, no church records, no tax returns, no nothing!"

Church - even

College - even, since both haven't released those records

Tax Returns - Obama has released more

So with that, Obama has been more open.

You do realize that what you over there on "the left" and you over there on "the right".... is over what someone did in college 30 years ago?

The machine is working. Thought I'd let you "both" know ;)

Obama didn't graduate from Harvard Law. Somebody else made that happen.

I didn't make that up; :notme: Somebody else (Obama) did

There is no machine working, all our Presidents graduated college, that's good enough for me. I think these kind of things are silly. There might be some joking/sarcasm in my posts.

I think it was a mistake and it will probably be just controversial enough to cause a lot of headaches for Romney.

I posted that just 1 week ago and it is already coming true.
Didn't Romney learn anything from McCain picking Palin?
Never pick a controversial running mate, especially one who has plans to change Medicare.

Social Security and Medicare are two things you dont want to talk about in a race...ever.
All it does is scare the hell out of people.

Even if he picked Mother Teresa the media would still find problems. Why doesn't the media find fault in Biden's daily gaffes, just to name one example?

ugh, I guess you missed the media going after Biden for his "chains" remark recently?

You just type Biden into Google

First 3

Is Joe Biden dragging Obama down? (+video)

Biden handlers keep close tabs on vice president's comments, coverage

Were Biden's Remarks Truly a Gaffe?

Maybe if you started reading MSM, you would see the coverage of Biden.

They have on may occasions, especially on FOX news.
But Biden's daily gaffes are just that...gaffes.
Biden opens mouth and inserts foot all the time but that's not the same as having a plan that you have been pushing for years on how to change Medicare.

A good campaign manager should know never to have their candidate pick a runner mate that brings controversial baggage with them, especially anything that has to do with Social Security and Medicare.
If you get into office then you can work on those plans but you never want them in a race.
It's toxic for your campaign.

They may report it very briefly, but they never contest the Democrats. The liberal media has already started to look for stuff to rip Ryan to shreds. The Democrats are lucky to have the majority of the MSM on their side and defending them. I hope the people wake up to this fact.

Personally I didn't think Bidens "Chains" remark was anything to get ruffled about, but can you imagine the uproar it would have caused if Romney or Ryan said it. The Liberal media would be talking about it for the next month, until they found some other BS to pick on.

Just look at Obama's decision to give Illegal aliens amnesty a couple of months before elections. Everyone knows why this was done. Just imagine if it was the Republicans doing the same, the hound dogs (MSM) would be hunting them down.

First off, if there was a drinking game for this thread, where we all took a shot, everytime you mentioned MSM, we would all be dead from alcohol poisoning.

"Personally I didn't think Bidens "Chains" remark was anything to get ruffled about, but can you imagine the uproar it would have caused if Romney or Ryan said it."

Me either, but guess where I read that at? MSM, getting at a Democrat for something stupid, because they get at....... everybody.

You keep posting stuff you know is false for some reason, and that's not a good look for you.

https://www.google.com/search?q=oba...pw.r_qf.&fp=cd0820781f4eef2e&biw=1216&bih=510

Where do you see MSM not talking about it?

What part of MSM gets at everybody are you not grasping?

I've had a standing offer for you, for which you have yet taken me up on. Give me a subject you think the MSM is not talking about and in my next post, I'll show you MSM talking about it.

You have yet to post your media sources as well. Since apparently you feel there are other sources out there doing a better job, so please share.

And let me state the obvious. Of course you're going to be hearing more about Ryan now, because he's the new guy on the scene. They'll be digging up everything they can on him, just like they did with Obama and Palin. Biden has been around for awhile. Romney isn't new, it's the first time he's the nominee, not the first time he ran.

But keep in mind, the MSM will spin any story to fit their notions of how that story is good for obama.

And no, I rarely watch fox.

For at times, they are worse than the dreaded MSM.

Yes, because Fox loves Obama, lol. Fox spins any story to make Obama look good. You actually believe that?

Actually fox does a better job of reporting about obama and biden.
Telling the truth more often than msnbc.
