Trump just gave a weapons-grade crazy press conference — here are the 6 most insane moments
    16 Feb 2017 at 14:15 ET

President Donald Trump held a press conference today in which he once again boasted about his November election win and attacked the mainstream media for producing “fake news.”

But beyond the usual boasting and bashing, the president made several jaw-dropping statements that were surprising even by his standards. Below, we’ll go over the six craziest moments at today’s press conference.

    1. Trump says that while the leaks coming out of his administration are real, the news stories being written about them are still fake news. When asked to explain the seeming contradiction in his desire to both crack down on leaks in his administration and to attack news stories based on those leaks, the president simply said the leaks from the administration were real, but the news they generated was fake.”The leaks are real,” Trump said. “The leaks are absolutely real. The news is fake because so much of the news is fake.”
    2. Trump falsely claims that his electoral college victory this past November was the biggest since Ronald Reagan’s.With 306 electoral college votes, Trump’s margin of victory last year was smaller than not only Ronald Reagan’s, but also George H.W. Bush’s victory in 1988, Bill Clinton’s two victories in 1992 and 1996, and Barack Obama’s two wins in 2008 and 2012.When confronted by this, Trump simply replied that he “was given that information,” without acknowledging that the information was false.
    3. Trump said he was fine with WikiLeaks because it never leaked classified information. When asked to resolve the contradiction between his current crusade against leaks purportedly coming from the intelligence community and his past praise of WikiLeaks for its leaking of damaging information on Hillary Clinton, Trump falsely claimed that WikiLeaks doesn’t leak classified information.
    4. Trump dismisses GOP town hall protesters because most of them are Democrats. When asked about the rowdy protesters from constituents that many Republican lawmakers have faced at their town halls, Trump dismissed them and said most of those people weren’t the people who voted for Republicans in the first place, and thus shouldn’t be taken into consideration.”They are not the Republican people that our representatives represent,” the president said of the protesters.
    5. Trump insists that the alternative to getting along with Russia could be “nuclear holocaust.”When asked about his repeated praise of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump once again said that he hoped to get along with the Kremlin, while not guaranteeing that he would be able to do so.Trump then veered off course and said that relations between the two countries were important because otherwise the result could be “nuclear holocaust.””Nuclear holocaust would be like no other,” he said. “They’re a very powerful nuclear country, so are we.”
    6. Trump shouts down a Jewish reporter who asked him about rising anti-Semitism.When a reporter from a Jewish publication asked Trump to address the rise in anti-Semitic hate crimes around the country, Trump shot back at him for supposedly asking an unfair question.”It’s not a fair question,” Trump said to the reporter, and then told him to “sit down.”
Trump then went on to say that he was the least anti-Semitic person in the world.

did you hear him ramble about uranium? D-:
    https://twitter.com/readerer/status/832303185826033664

And how he could shoot that "sub" (it's not a sub) out of the water? (which would be a war crime since it's in international waters)

"The leaks are real the news is fake..."

And the black reporter he asked to schedule something with the CBC? :xf.eek:

    Batsh*t. Crazy.

Attack the media for reporting news, deflect any questions that you don't want to answer by attempting to turn the tables on the questioner...now why would anyone think that this is going to end badly.

haha, was just thinking the same thing.

Remind you of anyone? (in a SNL Church Lady voice) "Let's see, WHO could it be...Oh, I don't know...could it be NIXON???"

This is ridiculous, 3rd straight weekend, he's headed to his Florida resort. Gilsan would be having a meltdown if Obama did this. He's so used to travelling around, I think he can't stand being in Washington.

Is Gilsan the last Trump supporter left in this thread? The others seemed to have vanished.

"I would not be a president who took vacations. I would not be a president that takes time off. You don't have time to take time off."

Trump family’s elaborate lifestyle is a ‘logistical nightmare’ — at taxpayer expense

Gilsan's just in it for the memes.

Last weekend's excursion was partly to entertain the Japanese PM (and torture him with weird creepy handshakes) and partly so he and Flynn could meet up with Rybolovev and get their story straight. Can't exactly do that at the WH.

I want to know what they have on Chaffetz. Someone has something on him. Any guesses?

Could be this. Let's face it, anything featuring Weiner and a goat is a bad idea. Gives a whole new meaning to Congressional Favors.

You forgot to mention Hitler, Stalin and Genghis Khan. Really you liberal nutties are losing your collective minds and it is rather humorous to watch.

Can't be worse than what Obama did to our reputation. Although, I will admit by this time Obama had already won a Nobel Peace Prize so the bar IS kinda high.

Indeed. Even 'Focks News' (Faux News ?) are distancing themselves from their idol.

Of course, when you play with fire and gasoline you always get burnt eventually.

Quick, guess the quote, "I did not have sexual relations with THAT woman!"

You guessed it, the father of the Democrat Party, a fellow that democrats voted for TWICE who served out a full 8 years and was adored by millions of hypocrites in the Democrat Party.

So, dems dont really have the high ground on morality.

Trump will serve out 8 years, he will reduce the outrageous debt that Obama increased by 12 trillion dollars and the democrats will keep posting memes and putting vaginas on their head and wondering why no one listens to them anymore.

45 will be impeached or committed within a year. Or will nuke us all. One or the other. Repubs want him out, they just want to push through their key agenda first. Then we will have president Pence - (who's so sanctimonious that I'm not sure he's ever had relations with any woman!)

I don't know why anyone is comparing 45 to past presidents or candidates. That's like your house is on fire and you're standing around saying "the fire that burned down my neighbors house last year was WAY worse!" ... Instead of calling the damned fire department!

Speaking of Pence, he just gave a speech at MSC2017 that totally... TOTALLY contradicts everything 45 has been spouting. For example:
Also talked about holding Russia accountable for what's going on in Ukraine. (You won't hear that coming out of the boss-man's mouth.)

    We live in interesting times!

    Never gonna happen.
I will be truly surprised if he completes his first year without getting kicked out of office.

No worries. I'm here to help buddy, not sure if Genghis Khan ever declared an entire group of fellow citizens the ‘Enemy of the People', but your beloved con man sure did, just like Hitler, Goebbels, Lenin and Stalin:

Hitler used this rhetoric to describe the Jews. “Each Jew is a sworn enemy of the German people".

Goebbels pushed it further for Hitler: "If someone wears the Jewish star, he is an enemy of the people. Anyone who deals with him is the same as a Jew and must be treated accordingly...".

Lenin, used “the peoples' enemies” as a label to stigmatize anyone who didn't fall into line with the revolution. They were then ostracized and even their friends were under suspicion.

Stalin used similar language against any politician he didn't like. Once branded, they were sent to labor camps or killed.

Satisfied?, Of course not, you weren't really interested in the facts, just in keeping up your denial.

I'm just chilling out and having a lot of fun just watching all you lefties freaking out about Trump and the Russians, while trying to show how superior you all are in relation to anyone who has a different opinion to yours...
