You put the responsibility to behave and obey the law on the victim. Police said victim should have ran out the back door, he could have met a worse fate there. No questions if the criminals were armed. I think it safe to assume at least one of the three could have had a gun.

While I respect your experience, there is no reason to expect another person to act as you do. Victim wasn't out and about, he was staying in the store to protect the property from criminals burglarizing businesses.

If someone is trying to steal your car in Texas , and you shoot them, you will be no billed by the grand jury, we have had two cases of that, both no billed, we have an after dark policy here as well, peeping Tom or similar around your house after dark , home intruder and ect, you can blow em to their maker , you will be no billed for any charges, we have had a lot of cases of that here

OK, he'll have his day in court, a jury of his peers will receive all the facts and they can judge his guilt or innocence based upon the laws in his area - assuming he doesn't plead out. The end.

@Mr X , I take back what I said about taking assault rifles, i wouldn’t give mine up right now for a million dollars, I felt that all the mass shooting justified banning them, I was wrong, me , my wife and son are all carrying two firearms per car right now, the wife bought me a new Bushmaster last weekend, so I turned my AK-47 over to my son, my wife carry’s my M4 , I am damn glad and happy I have them right now too

And New York, California, Connecticut, and several others will definitely throw your rearend in jail for a good LONG time if you were to do any of that!

Again, different jurisdictions have different laws.

If we get to pick and choose which laws pertain to us and which don't in any given situation, what's the purpose of having laws? Why should I have to obey a law in one state that doesn't exist in another state?

These aren't directed at you .X., just rhetorical questions in general.

And I'm betting a crap ton of the recent new gun purchasers are Dems, progressives, etc that 4 weeks ago were FULL TILT against them! And they're still probably full tilt against them for "others" - it's just that they know THEY are responsible and won't harm anyone with their firearm. It's everyone else that is the problem....

i agree , I think we need across the board laws on using deadly force, one case here in Texas, a man had his truck stolen, his truck was recovered, the idiots came back to steal it again, truck owner lived on the second floor at an apartment complex, the thief’s were sitting in his truck , the owner went out on his balcony and fired 4 shots at the thief’s, one hitting the thief in the behind the steering wheel, one hitting an accomplice in the back seat of the 4 door pick up truck , the one sitting in the drivers seat died , the other recovered, this happened at 1am , the man was no billed by a Dallas county grand jury for homicide and manslaughter , it was deemed justified homicide by the grand jury

could be, but most in Texas have had a firearm , most have several firearms , it is and has always been a very pro gun state, firearms are just kind of the norm here, always have been since I have been alive

we don’t really ever have a so called spike in firearm sales here, we get spikes in ammunition sales during times like these though

Reminds me of that old saying... I have more than I need, but not as much as I'd like.

I hear you. I learned to shoot when I was about 6, but got away from it after my teens. Finally came back to it a number of years ago.

I read an article last week that there are a ton of new gun purchasers in California that have come up short because gun stores have been declared non-essential businesses and were forced to shut down. All those in the middle of their 10 day wait our now gunless and in limbo. I don't remember if it was a statewide thing or just the major cities where they were forced to close.

Cali is under very liberal leadership, these are the times that the people of cali must really regret having these leaders in their state

Kushner: The notion of the federal stockpile was it's supposed to be our stockpile. It's not supposed to be the states' stockpile.

You have to be fat and stupid ( oliver ) to believe he was talking about keeping medical supplies from the states.

Bad enough to not know how federalism works without lying about what JK said and meant. It's simple management. Use what you have and we'll back you up when needed.

I can guarantee if Trump's team distributed everything, the same people would be bitching and calling for Trumps head.

What needs happen very soon, President Trump needs to tell the people of America what happened, how the virus got out world wide, we already know China withheld information for months regarding the virus, but President Trump needs to address the nation in as much transparency as is possible regarding the virus, the economy, the future of America.

He may need to start addressing the nation by television daily or every other day or something to squash the media’s propaganda with the virus and economy and ect.

the President has been fighting the Globalist , deep state and China, Russia to try and save America, he was in a bad path at first, he turned to tail wind and is getting traction, but I feel he must come out and tell the people what exactly had happened and is happening

Lol they changed the website just because Jared said something that sounded odd.

The Strategic National Stockpile's role is to supplement state and local supplies during public health emergencies. Many states have products stockpiled, as well. The supplies, medicines, and devices for life-saving care contained in the stockpile can be used as a short-term stopgap buffer when the immediate supply of adequate amounts of these materials may not be immediately available. https://www.phe.gov/about/sns/Pages/default.aspx

Strategic National Stockpile is the nation’s largest supply of life-saving pharmaceuticals and medical supplies for use in a public health emergency severe enough to cause local supplies to run out.
When state, local, tribal, and territorial responders request federal assistance to support their response efforts, the stockpile ensures that the right medicines and supplies get to those who need them most during an emergency. Organized for scalable response to a variety of public health threats, this repository contains enough supplies to respond to multiple large-scale emergencies simultaneously. https://web.archive.org/web/20200403134414/https://www.phe.gov/about/sns/Pages/default.aspx

I wonder if that's part of the reason for this drop - https://www.rasmussenreports.com/pu...p_administration/trump_approval_index_history

Went from 48% to 44%, his lowest of the year - https://www.rasmussenreports.com/pu...p_administration/trump_approval_index_history

    Or the other bungling.

I do not own assault weapons, assault rifles.
I let the military have those.

Except for not being able to go out and eat (restaurants closed, but most do take or or delivery)....
Life is the same for the wife and I.
Oh, and dammit it all to hell and back.....we can not visit our great grandkids nor they visit us.....

Pretty sure they changed the website because degenerate democrats were pretending Kushner actually said Fed emergency stockpile was only for federal use, not for the states.

What kind of lowlife scum lies about stuff like that.
