Conclusion? LLL.com reseller market is swinging on the lower end of the market these days...
Yeah I think you will keep seeing these lower sales for a while, but its mostly with bad letter combinations like that.
It will improve though, its only temporary
Why is vny bad letters?
NY stands for New York, New Year, New You. VN can be virtual network, virtual new etc
Not terrible letters but certainly not as good as DAE, which shows in the price. VQF is the same, not a great letter combo and not a lot of acronyms/meaning in that one
VNY isnt worth alot because those letters dont combine effectively together. individually they are good letters but when you consider the positioning and type of letters, it doesnt allow for good, practical business uses.
I disagree. From Video business to Capital Ventures (Ventures), Valuations, Venues, Virtual etc. Could create fantastic brand for a city that has economy comparable to top countries in the world.
Create a company Videos New York, VNY - and no one forgets you. Or establish Virtual New York for Virtual Tours of NY and you are gold etc... The brand would be also visually very symmetric with V looking similar to Y, and VNY and COM being 3 letters.
CTX.com closed at $139,100 a domain name once owned by Michael Berkens and then Nat Cohen.
FDJ.com - $40,100 - DropCatch
VDF.com - newest LLL .com in the world - sold for $21,001 dollars on DropCatch, per NameBio.
The domain belonged to Vodafone Spain.
Back in 2006 I sold around 50 lll.com to Scott richter around $3k a piece.
Just bought one recently and received $17k offers from np member.
kvz.com $9,999 Sedo
As wholesale price $10K for some low quality LLLs makes sense. Many good quality letter LLLLs have more potential uses and companies using acronym than this kind of LLL.
Nice hit. It's great when you FTRB.
i think deal fell off
Bao.com just ended at the equivalent of $166,952 (a no reserve auction) at 4.cn. Two bidders really fighting for it in the end:
I think this is a fantastic lll.com for both the Chinese and Western markets.
Both at Namejet.
wtl.com - $15,300
Seems pretty low to me.
Some people believe the domain WTL.com is a stolen asset. I have not looked into it.
It's a toxic rumor, it would be decent if those who spread it would step forward and justify the suspicion
Info came from James Booth who was offered the domain. Escrow.com and DAN flagged the seller as untrustworthy.
There is another reputed NP member who bought via DAN. He requested refund to DAN as soon as he heard from James. Then Seller listed on Dropcatch.
@Acroplex Thanks for further info
