It happened on 23rd Aug 2022 and this matter lasted almost one month without any process. Masterbucks.com declined my fund withdrawal and disabled the button of fund withdrawal. And I contacted Epik.com and got no further action even if Rob Monster got involved in it for two weeks. All the time I was told in email by management review.

What is wrong with Epik.com? Do you think it is normal to disable fund withdrawal? How can I get back my fund from Epik.com? Thanks for your suggestion.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Could this be them? :

"Data collection" LOL. He forgot "child porn", "federal informant", "fraudster", "money laundering" and "treason" industries.

How many domains do they have and how much revenue is it making minus the debts they owe to us lot?

So, did everyone get this email I wonder?
Nope. I'm pleased to say that I didn't, despite having well over 400 domains still at Epik (sadly)...
I dare say it will come though. Brian will be looking for every possible way to keep large portfolios now that he has worked out his job is to get domains renewed.
Too late for this little black duck though. As soon as I have the funds, the rest of my domains are out of there.

I spoke with management at NameCheap today and they are willing to make some very nice deals for large domain holders to move from Epik to Namecheap. Just contact their sales team and be sure to tell them you are an Epik customer wanting to get out.

I'm going to reach out to a couple other registrars this week, as I have time, and try to motivate them to do something.

I hate Namecheap. Too messy. And they force us to buy free things with nonfree renewal. Please move to Dynadot instead.

Moving Epik domains elsewhere (and doing nothing else) is not the solution. What does it solve: nothing. Selling before renewals? No. It only makes Epik steal masterbucks and instore money permanently, before we have any chance to spend it. I send 10 messages to them about failed registrations and renewals every day, and they mostly ignore, and when they don't , they play idiot, or fix part of the problem, and unless I say more, they remain silent as if everything is ok. I don't accept moving domains out and keeping money at Epik at the same time.

And one of the big issues at present is that every auth has to be obtained individually as there is no way to export in bulk and their support just ignores numerous requests to provide them in bulk. >:(

It's slightly humorous. As of the last few days my ESET security suite warns me when trying to access Epik:

And the only way I can access it is to temporarily turn off the web protection. I guess a user reported them as a scam website and ESET happily obliged. Ha!

Has anyone spent these useless masterf*cks on domains there and escaped this way?

I don't know about recently, but earlier this year some people tried to use them to renew domains they already had at Epik. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. This is because renewing domains at Epik itself can be hit or miss -- especially if close to expiration. Even though Epik will show the domain as renewed (new renewal date), sometimes the domain(s) are NOT renewed by Epik and expire. Other times it has taken multiple DAYS for the domain to eventually renew.

As a result, if you renew domain(s) at Epik ALWAYS check an authoritative WHOIS to see if it was actually renewed. Here is the best one (remove the space before org).
lookup.icann. org/en

Certainly worth a try at least, so wishing you success!!! :)

Things must be going well at ICANN.

I noticed Brian's Twitter followers went from 182--->183 so that networking must really be paying off!

Of course most of his followers are probably people Epik screwed over.

Brad
Maybe the flight attendant?

I am surprised that ICANN allowed him/them to participate in light of all the complaines I am sure they've had. Seems like ICANN don't care about what's going on at E.

I did find one positive about E lately. That is if you list your Epik names on sedo, they use MLS (like fast transfer at Afternic.) I'm hoping this helps get some sales and get some more names out of E. I've too many to move them all at once.

Since Epik is still accredited, what choice does ICANN have, but to allow him to come?
(Also I am pretty sure the MasterBucks fiasco is NOT subject to ICANN regulation either, at least not directly.)
If he is at the convention, it makes it a LOT easier for ICANN to have an "off the record" talk with him, if they want to.

They should have some concern that E is defrauding customers such as Ms Kathleen and many others. How can ICANN stand behind such a group and keep them accredited? I hope they have a serious talk with Brian and set him straight and give him a warning to clean up their act or else they could lose accrediting.

What did you formally do to inform ICANN, if I may ask?
By good fortune, I have not been defrauded,so there is no ground for me to submit a complaint. I see other have and my understand is that others have made claim to ICANN about this mess and their fraud.

It will just take a very long time before ICANN takes action, if any. First step would be that ICANN sends Epik Inc. a letter called "Notice of Breach of Registrar Accreditation Agreement". If no progression is made, it can easily take another 6 months or more until a final "Notice of Termination of Registrar Accreditation Agreement" will be sent.

By the way, if anyone has filed a formal complaint about Epik Inc. to ICANN, please share date and contents on this forum.

Let's not forget about Masterbucks.

21 reviews. 21 1-star reviews.

Somehow that equates to a 2.0 rating. :xf.confused:

I don't think they will be competition for Paypal.
