It happened on 23rd Aug 2022 and this matter lasted almost one month without any process. Masterbucks.com declined my fund withdrawal and disabled the button of fund withdrawal. And I contacted Epik.com and got no further action even if Rob Monster got involved in it for two weeks. All the time I was told in email by management review.

What is wrong with Epik.com? Do you think it is normal to disable fund withdrawal? How can I get back my fund from Epik.com? Thanks for your suggestion.

Has anyone seen a price even close to $9 recently?

Right now the lowest price is $62 with 3,100+ domains listed.

There is a massive gap between $9 and $62.

Surely some domains expired a day earlier. If the price continues to drop, where are those domains?

Brad
I haven't seen any @ $9 because I don't watch it anymore. In the past the price would drop to $9 in the last hour, then would disappear from the platform. I would expect the price to drop on the hour. We'll know in 5 min...

I would not buy a domain at Epik regardless, but the good news is their expired inventory is complete trash.
No one is missing out on anything.

I am not sure if that was always the case, or it is because they removed user listings.

Also, hundreds of thousands of domains have left Epik, so there are even less quality domains to expire.

There used to be better stuff there. But it was hit and miss.

The price dropped as expected:

You need to understand how the platform works. It's a reverse auction. The price drops continually until it reaches $9 (unless they have set a higher reserve).

There is no new $80 floor price. That would have just been where the auction was at when Brad checked. Currently there are auctions at $62:

I haven't used the platform in a fair while, but unless there has been a major change that price will keep falling until it reaches $9 with an hour to go.
Why would anyone actually go to NameLiquidate to buy a domain for $9?

So that they could explain to their customers that NameLiquidate wasn't in the acquisition if the customer doesn't receive the domain?

When I bought some there several months ago (to use up Epik credit) domains were being received just fine.

On the subject of how "new Epik" has nothing to do with "old Epik" it is worth noting their continued dishonesty:

So, the "new Epik" which has nothing to do with the "old Epik" was founded in 2009?

Yeah, they've earned an industry reputation for being "exceptional". Sounds like Myrvang is smoking the leftovers from Royce's crack pipe.

Yeah, they are trying to have it both ways.

They embrace the connection when it benefits them, but are totally separate entities when it does not.

"New" Epik inherited "Old" Epik's history, oh but not when it comes to scamming customers via blatant corporate abuse.

Then you have their positive comments about the parties most responsible for this scam.

I haven't seen any compelling evidence that "new" Epik is owned/operated by new, unrelated parties to "old" Epik. They have made the decision to be secretive about it for a reason.

I certainly don't trust them.

Either the folks at epik are back to old tricks or their platform is becoming increasingly unstable.

Over the last week, I've experienced 'automatic' log outs...sometimes only after being logged in just a few minutes. When I log in later today, if it happens again, I will be firing off a complaint to ICANN.

Oh yeah, old epik/new epik/masterbucks still owes me $XX,XXX.

I love how you think ICANN cares about login issues when every other registrar on earth also experiences them from time to time 🤣

Digital Empowerment RM.png

They cannot develop these key properties, and the Masterbucks customers are not empowered when they are owed money by Rob Monster.

Maybe try sending another ICANN report?

That's a great idea...thanks for the suggestion. It's awesome to have such a quality contributor to the thread...keep up the good work.

epik.com is owned and controlled by Epik LLC. Epik LLC is not owned or operated by any individual, shareholder, investor, or managers of Epik Holdings Inc or Epik Inc. ( Old Epik). Epik LLC has a management agreement to run the registrar until the transfer is approved.

John Berryhill. Thank you for your concerns on the aftermarket. We have had our lawyers review your comments and they feel you are not understanding how we are working and disagree with your assessments. If you put two lawyers and a judge in a room all three will have three different ideas, so it may just have to be a disagreement.

Epik.com is providing a domain management platform. We can connect an unlimited amount of third party escrow services, that are not services we provide in house, to the software to help a buyer and seller facilitate a transaction with a third party escrow service of their choosing. We connect to the escrow providers credit card processor gateway, not ours. No aftermarket sales hit an epik checking account. We're offering 9.99 .com new registrations and renewals and anyone with 200 domains gets .25 over cost pricing on 550 different extensions. We're focused on the platform. Sellers can see who is offering purchases and see relevant parking stats. Anyone on here would struggle to find even one instance of someone showing an example of how they were financially wronged by Epik LLC and epik.com after July 1 2023. We do things a little differently like have standard accounting and audit processes. Epik LLC didn't buy Masterbucks LLC or any of it's assets or liabilities.

Sorry for the confusion our postings may have caused. We've said we're epik.com 20 different ways. Not sure how else to say it.
It was epik.com that cheated me out of my domain name without giving me any money

Hey everyone,

I am not active at NamePros and I am not aware of what happened with all the customers Epik owed. I kept talking to Rob who assured me that soon I will get my money back. He has stopped replying since a month ago. Instead I received this email from MasterBucks support.

I have told Rob that I want every cent I am owed.

If anyone here received their money can they please share how they made Rob/Epik/Masterbucks release it?

Thanks

"We have received your inquiry about the status of your redemption. This is from proceeds from an escrow transaction completed on September 27, 2022. We have been working diligently to recover these funds from the group who completed that transaction for you. As of today, we have no access to the bank account that received those funds and have not received an accounting of where those funds went. In the meantime, the Founder/Chairman of Epik has been graciously assisting people who are in hardship situations. If you are in urgent need of funds, you can cancel the existing redemption and initiate a new one for $1000 and it should be possible to clear this one for you within 1-2 days while the restructuring and recovery of Masterbucks continues. That is complete bullshit. Rob Monster does know where the money is.

Actually he was the one who I reached out to when Epik Escrow wasn't doing it's job back in Sep 2022 and Rob helped complete the sale. I have messaged him a thousand times asking him to release my money since then.

He did not complete the sale, but the theft.
