It happened on 23rd Aug 2022 and this matter lasted almost one month without any process. Masterbucks.com declined my fund withdrawal and disabled the button of fund withdrawal. And I contacted Epik.com and got no further action even if Rob Monster got involved in it for two weeks. All the time I was told in email by management review.

What is wrong with Epik.com? Do you think it is normal to disable fund withdrawal? How can I get back my fund from Epik.com? Thanks for your suggestion.

I thought so too! :) I finally found an attorney in Washington state. I have been searching for days for someone in CA or WA. Waiting to hear back.

Best of luck! Hopefully the AG office gets back to you soon as well. They will investigate no doubt. They did for me for a small $1k a car dealership claimed was non-refundable. Car dealership coughed it up right away and then the AG investigated them for further misconduct.

All I know is I would hate to have paid for an Epik "forever" registration right now.

The situation that is happening now is exactly what I pointed to as a potential issue when they were marketing those. You are not paying for anything other than a promise to keep renewing them, in perpetuity, for an unknown price.

If Epik is unable to pay existing customer debts, how much of a priority do you think those "forever" registrations are going to be? Epik already collected all the money upfront.

Brad
You did say that back then I remember that. People would have thought it crazy at the time but yeah that 100 year or forever registration would be crazy.

Andrew did a very good job of highlighting what is going on at Epik in a very concise manner.

He talked about -
  • commingling of funds
  • accepting new escrow business when the money is not there to pay customers
  • @Kathleen Kalaf story
  • Epik's response on Trust Pilot trying to pretend they are a completely separate entity than Masterbucks
  • The threats against people who have spoken up with nonsense claims of defamation.

I have no idea what the deck of Rob Monster is, but it seems like Rob still does not take responsibility for his actions that lead to this current shitshow.

Prayers are not going to pay bills...

Where did the money go?

Two news outlets responded back to me thanking me and said they are looking at reporting on this. I sent tips to 11 news outlets. 7 others have read the messages. I'm sure this will gain MSM attention soon.

@DomainNameWire highlighted @Kathleen Kalaf story.

An Epik victim tells her story

https://domainnamewire.com/2022/12/05/an-epik-victim-tells-her-story/

I talked about this a bit on my podcast today, but to suggest that Epik paid it out by putting the money at Masterbucks strains credulity.

Note that Kalaf began her transaction after Masterbucks went “down for maintenance.” So the company knew it didn’t have the money available to pay existing customers, but still accepted her transaction and the buyer’s cash, ostensibly to pay off other creditors and put her in the back of the line.

Oh! I had no idea they could be that impactful. I reported to the Washington State AG on 11-30, have not heard a word.

For every bad person in the domain field there are a lot more good people who don't want to see others screwed over.

I don't think Andrew initially realized how deep the problems at Epik went, or that they were still taking in new escrow business and leaving customers with a Masterbucks balance that can't be withdrawn.

I try to be a champion for others who don't have the same voice or reach in the field.
I don't like seeing anyone get ripped off or suckered.

I think I was the first to share your video, and I am glad to see that it is gaining traction.

The fact that Epik is still soliciting new escrow business, and then trying to pretend that they have no relationship to Masterbucks is especially galling to me.

Kathleen.

In life I have always said..."It is not what you know, or what you think you know. It is what you can prove."

Also, you don't have to be smart. You just have to be smarter than them.

I once took on a billion dollar company for unfair dismissal and won and received half a years salary. It was worth every ounce of research and every bead of sweat. The key is in the detail. In my case an ex-police officer was party to tampering with a witness statement. I was subject to GDPR regulations and obtained my company file under a Subject Access Request. They sent me both copies of the witness statement, before and after tampering.

I'm sure that it will work out for you in the end. You have come so far already and now is the time when you need to be stronger than you ever thought was possible.

Good luck for the future.

Rgrds,

So now that we all have a pretty good handle on what is happening with things at Epik I am curious about what happened to all that money ~18,000,000. I suspect much of it got blown or hidden in crypto. The nice thing about about crypto, from a forensics point of view at least, is that ALL transactions are stored in the blockchain and public and they can't be hidden after the fact so it doesn't hurt my investigation to state my plans publicly.

Does anyone know of any Epik, Rob, Masterbucks, etc addresses for various crypto they accepted payments with? Also, if you ever made a payment using crypto to any of the above and know your address and date of transaction I can figure out their address(es).

This could be very interesting. Please post all addresses. Thanks!

User in the thread said masterbucks was the escrow for the BTC. I have some time tonight to do some chain analysis.

Edit: Seems they used Coinbase commerce and thus there is no cold wallet that can be tracked directly to masterbucks.

I have no idea where the money went in this case, but this is something I have pointed out to others in the crypto field in the past. It is not as anonymous as people seem to think.

The blockchain actually provides an invaluable tool for investigators. Once they can tie you to an account it is not all that hard to follow the chain.

These actions are essentially permanently recorded.
If you did something shady years ago, that activity is still on the blockchain.

Activity on the blockchain has lead to many investigations, arrests, and convictions.

Thanks. That seems to be a small one. There's a good chance they were rotating addresses but all roads eventually lead to the source. If you come up with any more addresses or find any on that branch that lead to big accounts or known addresses please let me know.

Can someone please explain to me what is going on here? I have never used masterbucks. Are these real crypto wallets with real addresses or just make believe wallets Monster is using to make mastercucks seem like a crypto and this dumb site an exchange? How do you add funds to these wallets?

Their website says you can withdraw in those currencies. It seems to me they are real crypto wallets and not masterbucks-backed, according to the extremely limited information. Their terms say nothing about cryptocurrency.

Some interesting blogposst I found. Masterbucks was previously called EpikBucks. They are clearly related and the trust pilot comments are lies:

Yeah, I noticed I had an epicbucks account stored in my password manager. I need addresses to confirm some things. Please let me know any addresses used with Epik, rob or any of them, ever. Reach out to others and ask them. I have already ID'ed some huge transactions right when all of this started and the investors demanded their money back.

Within 2 levels of known Epik address is the 2nd biggest crypto scam of all time. lol.

FWIW, the ("Old*******").com domain I tried registering twice at epik via masterbucks and paypal on December 3rd is still unregistered.

I know this isn't an ICANN issue now, was mainly looking for public signs that could hint at a registrars health. Perhaps wondering if epik has verisign credit is a fishing expedition, just thinking if .com registrations stop, and maybe .com renewals stop for an extended amount of time, than that may be signs the final straw is near.

My December 3rd masterbucks attempt to register ("Old_______.com") is still not registered.
