McGregor suffered his first professional TKO loss on Saturday in the main event of UFC 257 against Dustin Poirier. In the loss, the camera closed in on McGregor lying on the canvas and appearing to be out cold. He wasn't actually knocked unconscious, but in the age of social media, a screenshot is worth a thousand memes. And some of them were pretty great.

In 2020 many of us live in comfort, we have access to various sources of home entertainment, and often we have more than we need.
But people complain about everything.
However, they have electricity, phone, food, hot water and a roof over their heads.
None of this existed before.
But humanity has survived far more tragic circumstances and never lost the joy of life.
Maybe it's time to be less selfish, stop complaining and crying.

 

My grandfather was born in 1900.
What he witnessed in his lifetime astounds me still.
I think men and women were made of tougher stuff then.
They just did what needed to be done and got on with life.
