Bizarre ‘Dark Fluid’ With Negative Mass Could Dominate the Universe
The physics of Einstein’s theory of the cosmos is currently seen as being incompatible with observational evidence. However, String theory suggests that the energy in empty space must be negative, which corroborates the theoretical expectations for a negative mass dark fluid. According to quantum mechanics, empty space is made up of a field of fluctuating background energy that can be negative in places - giving rise to waves and virtual particles that pop into and out of existence.

First. Snow. Of. The. Season. Yeps, snowed this morning,,,just barely enough to cover enough of the ground so that we can see the snow. But will slowly go away (36F). Best chances for second snow is the coming Sunday. Even though they forecast rain for every day, just not going into freezing temps.
Must I explain this:
Do I have to explain this one:
Old people remember stuff like this:
Your tv suddenly going into static mode
Whenever your mother turned on her electric mixer.
I used to broadcast CB radio to my neighbours ...on their toasters, lol
I remember when dad bought home our first colour television set.
We were disappointed that it didn't work so well with B&W programs.
Scoobie on a Doobie!
uh oh 3-3 bottom of 7th. Damn, 4-3 Dodgers. Congrats Kenny, I'm calling it early.
At least Falcons won today.
I guess I'm going for the Tampa Bay Rays. I forgot I had some Devil Rays gear, hat, shirt etc. somebody gave me when I quit my job back in the day. The dropped the Devil part:
"changed the team's name from "Devil Rays" to "Rays", now meant to primarily refer to a burst of sunshine rather than a manta ray,"
Scientists Measure The Shortest Length of Time Ever: Zeptoseconds
What about half a Zeptosecond?
"That time, for the record, is 247 zeptoseconds. A zeptosecond is a trillionth of a billionth of a second, or a decimal point followed by 20 zeroes and a 1."
It takes longer for a light particle to cross a hydrogen molecule then 1 zeptosecond, so there is not a present need for a time measure of less than a zeptosecond
Ok, finally ordered this bad boy - https://www.amazon.com/Aiwa-Essentials-Bundle-Bluetooth-Rechargeable/dp/B07YVKDTR9
Should get it Wednesday.
What a freekin series.
Great game, great series, the Braves played their hearts out and if not for some great defensive plays and a some running mistakes it could have gone the other way.
Thank you Braves for some outstanding ballgames.
Now bring on the Rays.
@DU if you are still lurking... we have some business.
I read somewhere that a Planck-time is theoretically the smallest unit of time measurement possible.
I'm not sure how far off from that we currently are... but it's probably orders of magnitude smaller.
The Planck time is the time it would take a photon travelling at the speed of light to across a distance equal to the Planck length. This is the 'quantum of time', the smallest measurement of time that has any meaning, and is equal to 10-43 seconds - https://www.physlink.com/education/...The Planck time is the, equal to 10-43 seconds.
