OK had to find something really good
I'm liking this band, have to check them out more later:
Portugal. The Man at Coachella:
One of the two main guys is in a wheelchair
Have an entire orchestral band behind them wearing Dame Lillard jerseys
Opened set w/ mix of Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pink Floyd before playing Modern Jesus
On now doing Hey Jude
I'm pretty impressed with the setup. 3 stages, live acts going all at once. 3 channels, can watch on site or YouTube. Clear streams. And you can watch live or take the little button and scroll back to catch earlier performances, scroll back up to see live.
And this folks is what sucks about IOT. Everybody’s rushing cute little gadgets to market, no security on them. They’re a free gateway to your network.
Would not dream of it.
ps. thanks for the mention.
So the storm has passed, left behind some work behind for me to do this summer. Mother Nature bent us over and hammered us good for 3 days straight, a special cocktail of high winds, ice, snow and rain. A family member emailed and suggested next time we'd be better prepared by building an ark with skis and sails. I like it.
This all ties together to some extraordinary
~ Bamboo Facts and Info ~
• It's stronger than steel when stretched and sturdier than concrete when compressed.
• It grows like grass, because it is a grass. Cannot be smoked like grass.
• Can be made into facial tissue. Antibacterial, antifungal and hypoallergenic and biodegradable.
• Works wonderful as bulletproof vests- half the weight and much cheaper, may even absorb shots from AK-47s.
• When you're not wearing the vest, why not make it into a beer? Bamboo leaves can be used to create a spicy brown ale.
• Of course, we all love drinking beer in the sun. Which is why bamboo has also been made into sunglass frames.
• Bridges! A team of Chinese engineers and workers built a 32 foot bamboo bridge that can support up to 16 tons.
• Finally, lets end with some other fine uses for bamboo: charcoal, skateboards and underwear.

Welcome, glad the storm wasn't as bad as predicted!
Yes, a fan of bamboo, installed some bamboo flooring, kinda pricey (up here) but real interesting stuff to work with!
Also finding hemp is interesting stuff...speaking of hemp, cannabis legalization happening soon in Canada.,,,Canada wide, big industry big bucks!
Speaking of Canada..congrats to the Toronto Raptors for making past the first round in playoffs...first time in their history that they made it that far! Best that I can do regarding basketball @JB Lions (caught that part on the local news today)
RIP Lee Ermey
""Here you are all equally worthless"Gunnery Sergeant Hartman
Mr. Whiskers brings home his most magnificent kill to date.
RIP Mitzi Shore.
Except for being Paulie Shores mom, this was a great woman.
Did you know that....
" It takes 8 minutes, 19 seconds for light to travel from the Sun to the Earth"
It takes five and a half hours for the Sun’s light to reach Pluto.
In space, light travels at 300,000 kilometres (186,000 miles) per second. Even at this breakneck speed, covering the 150 million odd kilometres (93 million miles) between us and the Sun takes a considerable time. And eight minutes is still very little compared to the five and a half hours it takes for the Sun’s light to reach Pluto.
Wow you are a uber science geek ..that number is a "gene ID"
"SYNJ2BP synaptojanin 2 binding protein [ Homo sapiens (human) ]

Wish I could grasp advanced math...math was never my forte (except in construction but relying on calculators when I got my first "sliver" (about 14 years) ...could figure out angles etc just by using a "carpenter T square"..
Did have a interest in the "Golden Ratio" for stockmarket...
I am only going to watch the AVS game tonight since I know the Sharks are a shoe-in for the next round and want a Sharks AVS Shark Week in the future
The time it takes light to reach the earth from the sun?
Also the time it would take for the sun to wipe us out....
"Night Court" actor Harry Anderson dies at 65
I can tell you I’d rather watch the first 5 seasons of Night Court than 10 minutes of any episode of Seinfeld.
And I have thank you.
I’m in the minority, but I don’t care.
I think Sharks beating Ducks, then Knights, then AVS then beating Toronto in the Cup would be maximum fun
Not a fan of Seinfeld either...only full episode that I watched was about eating a chocolate bar with a knife and fork but Kramer did make me laugh..
It's not called IOT anymore... now it's the IOHT
Vegas might be a contender....TO probably will be out in four games
lol It was more Sharks beating teams people might like in this thread
Pauley Shore is on the extremely small list of famous people I met in real life. Another just look and laugh

True Story - my car caught on fire while driving on the way to see "Son In Law" in the theater. Lesson learned - if your car catches on fire on the way to a movie, it's a sign from the universe to not see that movie
