Hey nP members,

this time I want to ask you the following:

What is THE BIGGEST DOMAINING SECRET in your eyes?

A secret can be a secret of one person but of course it can also be a secret of more than one person - it can be a secret of 100 persons or even much more of course.
Just because a secret is a secret as long as not everybody knows it - that means, also if you share it here, it still will be a secret - it's just the 'circle of those who will know it' which will grow by sharing it.

So, if you are allowed to share it and if you like that we should know what you know, than you are welcome to share it here.

Thanks,
all the best with your invest,

I was able to add a few zeros to my initial $100 investment with this secret...4 Letter .com's!

Where is a good place to sell 4 letter .com's?

Where is a good place to sell 4 letter .com's?

Its best to sell them to me!

If your looking for the best price, it really depends on the factors you are willing to put up with.

NP-NO FEES!! but lower prices and sometimes you have to deal with non-paying buyers
Ebay- smallest 'fee' around.. but smallest amount of eyeballs
NameJet- GREAT prices, but they require you to pay for the transfers and 15% commission
GoDaddy- whopping 20% commission but they have the most eyeballs
Flippa- $10 regardless + 10% commission. plus not many bidders
Sedo- Good bidders/eyeballs but it take longest processing time due to their own in-house escrow that requires the seller to transfer the domain to them regardless of where it is.(lame)
BrandBucket- Get retail prices, need to wait...but how long? no one knows!

Again the best place is to sell direct to ME! ;)

do four letter .net and .org have any value?

That's not my expertise, but yes they do have SOME value, but the reward and liquidity is not the same... meaning you will not profit much on each sale and they take longer to sell. IMO

IMO (from a newbies perspective): NamePros.com

This platform is not very easily found by fresh domainers, and in itself holds a wealth of knowledge & experience provided collectively by it's members. Without knowing it exists, chances of success for a novice domainer are slim to say the least.

So a secret is this:
No one on NP knows that my granddaughters are all gorgeous!

Second secret:
If you have type 2 diabetes, a can of good ginger ale is about 36 grams of carbs...not very good to have more than one a day.

But the best secret is what I learned prior to college and at college had it repeated a few times:
BUY LOW, SELL HIGH!

the biggest secret in domaining is to put the .mobi of the domain you want in your godaddy shopping cart
then at checkout you will see the .info of the domain for only 49 cents!
add that to your checkout and then remove the .mobi

I tried, doesnt work.

I remember the legendary domainer, Biggie Smalls (RIP) said in a speech - "Don't get high on your own supply."

I think what he meant is don't fall in love with your domains.

Just one of many lessons. We're here to sell, not cuddle them.

That one has always worked for me ;)

A dying king.

Not hardly.

Best advice, but I think it was legendary domainer Michelle Pfeiffer may have said it first back in 1983,
