I sell the most domains on forums like NamePros and from my website. Ebay and Sedo help too.

I voted for parked page. Although that's where I get most of my inquiries, the success rate is very low, but probably marginally better than Sedo. Until this year Afternic was outselling Sedo by a ration of About 5-1. TDNAM? Once in a blue moon because I don't list my portfolio there. Forums? Sure you can sell a lot of domains in the forums provided you're not waiting for an end-user and therefore have to sell them cheap.

I wouldn't do this if it was a very valuable domain. I see it as a dispute waiting to happen. One that wouldn't be in your favor.

Most sales - here. Highest $$$ sales - contacts from whois. Middle $$$ sales - Sedo.

What I mean Stub, is that the element of risk with Parking a domain goes up when you also put a "for sale" sign on it. Say a domain dispute was filed, it wouldn't be too hard for them to prove "Bad Faith" on your behalf. For valuable domains (even if they are generic), it's not worth the risk imo.

I try to put a note on the bottom of my parked pages that this is a temporary place holder page, until a website is put up. I am very careful, and I want to minimize risk in any way I can for my property that I worked very hard to obtain.

OK. I understand what you mean. I actually fall foul of this on occasions because I usually let the parking company select the keyword. I know.. this is not ideal.. but with many domains.. I can't get to them all at once. But with a studied selected keyword, a search for TM's and eliminating those products as keywords or links, you can minimize any such TM problems.

Also. I try not to put a "for sale" sign. I prefer something like "contact me for information". Which, ironically, leads to a lot of complaints from people who have clicked in links and ordered something which hasn't been delivered yet :(
