    Hello all.

    What a great community!

I have been reading various threads for about a month, learning loads and wanted to share my appreciation by joining in and commenting.

Hopefully one day to contribute helpfully as well. Right now though just glad to be here.

    Cheers!

Thank you @Josytal @aelko @tldboss @koolishman I will check out your posts and like accordingly as I read more. I don't think I'm allowed to like on day 1. It's a really well constructed forum, allowing new members in slowly which I think is a good idea.

Hello @easywebdomains.net and welcome to NamePros. You've started out on the right foot by reading and learning here on the forum.

Is domaining a new interest for you, or you do have related experience?

Hello to @OmarVG and @J Sokol thank you for the welcome.

@Samer - thank you for your interest. I got into Domaining at the start of lockdown. I am looking for a supplement income to my business.

There is no rush. I have analysed many arenas in my life and now I'm motivated to learn about this one. I have a history in trading and all things internet so this feels like a good extension to my existing skillset(s). I am currently conducting experiments and will report back my findings for further discussion. Should be an interesting ride!

@xynames Thank you for the welcome.:)

@Bob Hawkes Bob! Hey thanks so much for your welcome and all your contributions. You know, you are the first guy and main guy that I noticed was giving out some great advice on here, when I started reading.

I always read your thoughts carefully, so thank you. Maybe one day I can give back somehow. For now though - this is one steep learning curve and a wonderful mishmash of ideas, so keep it up. Cheers.

    @internext Thanks for the welcome.

@Reddstagg Thank you. Cunning plan? Lol. It strikes me there are some major obstacles for newcomers to overcome, so in the short term I will thank those that post answers to the questions in my head. So far there has been a thread written in the past on everything I can think of.

I will add this - I have a talent for breaking things. ha ha. It's actually quite useful. Coming from an IT background I have a good perspective on the kind of short cuts programmers / analysts take. Let's see overtime If I can come up with some bizarre angles on this, or maybe it's all been done before. There must be some other IT people on here.

    Good morning.

To me, in my limited experience it doesn't matter what someone else has done before you. It is all about the numbers. How many hours per day can you dedicate to this and how much can you spend?

If you can achieve both of your pre-determined levels on a regular basis without any detriment to you then this will be a viable opportunity for you.

Some would argue that you are late to the game but there is always time to bring on a sub.

You have to hit the ground running and be prepared to make difficult decisions and maybe lose money to start with but you have to quickly figure out what works best for you and stick to your plan.

    You have a plan.....right????

    Regards,

    Reddstagg
