Hello folks I really love the tech website I have been tweaking since it came online a few months ago. The website is http://www.besttechnology.org. Heres a quick overview we update users on the latest and best technology for free. We like to put some offers out their every few months.

I would like to hear some reviews about the website. I would also like some people to join the forum to get more users to be active. I am looking for good posts and in need of a few moderators also.

P.S - If I cant grow it like I have in my mind I may need a parter.

Thanks in advance,%%-

Mike

Your site has good programming skills. But lack needed functionality huge.

1-see techcrunch.com
News are display very simple (yours is a mess)

2-you have so many big graphics they become confusing

3-forums are only use for special niched, else it would distract the main site. Your site is not a niche.

4-Your menu bars are irrelevant ie. duplicate (tech talk, tech detail) I would be confuse.

About US, News, and Home...what is news? what is tech talk and tech detail?

Stuff like about us, contact us should be at the bottom..of the page with its own menu bar.

Lastly your domain name is too long and there are room for typo when the domain name is lengthy. And you don't want to use a .org for commercial purposes.

You have great programming skills, designing skills are average but lacking. Site is very confusing in terms of menus and pictures.

Its a work in progress but not a bad start!

here are some notes I have taken for improvement ideas.

1) Make your article titles links as well and not just the see more button.

2) maybe see if you can change your featured slider on the top to something like the below examples:

gamespot.com - its really smooth and doent go crazy when you move your mouse around it.

Or

dubtastic.com - the feature slides on a timer and you can ever skip through by clicking left or right.

3) Remove the back home text from all post thumbnails under Tech Talk as its not necessary and just add a front page link to your logo

Hope this helps and great articles, very eye catching.
