new gtlds Someone Registered Q.xyz!!

Okay, I have been wondering about this for over a month.

The Premium lists on XYZ's website indicates that one of the L.xyz is taken but I was only able to see which one it was today.

It looks like it was registered using Uniregistry. The purchase wasn't announced and I am not sure but based on the Whois, it might have been registered in 2014?

That was a full year before Daniel Negari bought .car from Google + the abc.xyz announcement.

L.xyz's are currently priced on Uniregistry at $55,000/per year.

Thoughts?

P.S. I contacted XYZ and their staff confirmed, it was purchased by someone.

NOTHING!!!

lol. I originally thought it was registered at the $55,000/year rate (hence the exclamations) but realized through Whois that it was registered in 2014. Still interesting though.

Interesting the domain forwards to Gen.xyz for that money you would think they would change the nameservers.
